It's in London today in just a few hours.

Today is like Christmas for me. I have a boner and everything.

Don't the high end cards get revealed later in a few months or so? Usually they reveal the mid/low range first and the top of the line stuff later.

EDIT: Scratch that, I'm probably thinking about the release schedule. Unless it's not even close to ready there's no reason to not give a peek in to the high end cards.

What time is this supposed to happen? See that's it's London, but can't get google translate to actually translate the thing. Is it happening at night?

I expect info and charts for 78xx and 77xx, and hints about 79xx.

If they keep the new naming scheme that was set with the 6000 series, they'll probably unveil the 7950 and 7970 today, with 7850 and 7870 coming in a few weeks. 7990 (the dual GPU card) will most likely not even be shown off until early next year, if prior unveils from them are anything to go on.

I'm totally hyped for today's event, just can't find any more concrete info than what's in the OP anywhere!

Come on man, I want my misleading graphs already. Wouldn't be a gpu-reveal without outrageous graphs!

Not the worst offender, but one I recently remember.

Yeah that was the exact one I was thinking of haha. Oh well you can't fault the companies for trying, all I hope is that the 7xxx are amazing, which means nvidia has to step up.

Yeah, both companies do that in Press Releases. Investors probably can't even read the %'s from where they are. :p

Genuinely excited to see the road map. I don't think I'm going to upgrade next year but come 2013, I know at leas the next batch of GPU's will be a lot more manageable in terms of price.

I clicked on this thread expecting to see hype graphs everywhere. Wtf AMD?

Unleash the damn Kraken already.

What do you mean exactly? As in, the overall pricing structure is going to be lower? Or that by the time you build, the prices will have come down on the next gen cards?

All I mean is that I probably will priority another buy with my money next year so by the time 2013 comes we will either have newer cards or the next set that is coming soon will be even cheaper. I got Vita to buy early next year so a GPU upgrade will have to wait.

So did the they improve their developer relations?

I would hope so! All the raw power means nothing when you have to wait for 1-2 months for proper driver support on a huge game release....
Crossfire needs to step up in a huge way!

AMD need to reevaluate the driver and game dev relation$ like nvidia ha$.

I really want to get an ATI GPU, but I can't. Their drivers are worse than Nvidia's IMO, and drivers make up a large chunk of why I buy these cards. Nvidia might take some time, but they are quality releases.

Is this going to be just an information drop across the web or is there going to be a stream of the reveal conference?

(I've never really followed tech unveiling before.)
