It's Greek vs. Roman mythology here. The gods are the same just with different names.
Hades = Pluto
Poseidon = Neptune
Zeus = Jupiter
So Hades is mentioned.

How can a person be a legendary weapon? Perhaps the people who wrote the ponyglyphs had some control over the process that creates devil fruits? Or could manufacture powers similar to them.
I don't get how a ponyglyph written centuries ago can indicate the location of a weapon born only a decade or so ago.

Shirahoshi inherited her mermaid powers most likely, the spoilers mention that Joy Boy made a promise to the previous mermaid princess

Remember the word "weapon" can have a broad meaning so it could refer to something animate or inanimate.
For the second point as Halycon snidely remarked, its just a Prophecy.

Poseidon is the mermaid born with the powers to control seas king every few hundred years .
Seem the ponyglyph was a apology to Mermaid Princess at the time maybe she had the power .

Well apparently on the page posted a bit ago it says "ancient" weapon. That's a bit weird. If they use the word "ancient" that means it being a prophecy doesn't take away from the confusion. Because ancient implies existence long ago, right?
I just wonder if the knowledge of this "weapon" somehow implies these ancient people knew more about the origins of such powers and that of devil fruits.

Maybe I'm confusing something but couldn't ancient just refer to the power the mermaid inherits every hundred years? The power itself is ancient, but it only appear every few hundred years

Plus if you want to use Poseidon as a character, he was ancient since he was basically a god.

The internet reaction will be worse than Sakura's fake declaration of love. Despite the fact that there's some reasons to believe it, and have been since Tobi appeared, everyone will call it an asspull, mostly because Kishimoto has done almost nothing to set up Tobi being anyone relevant.
The only reveal I could see people getting down with universally is if he's Evil Hashirama Senju, regardless of how shitty the explanation is.
