I agree with this. Same when you're in the company of someone telling a joke they heard from a stand-up comedy show, i always cringe inside when that happens. I mean, do you call them out on it in front of everyone or not?

On this note, I hate it when I make a joke and someone goes, "oh blah blah blah said that".
Well guess what, I'm saying it now! Besides, I'm just making sarcastic observations. That's what comedians do. So it's no surprise when I make a joke that's been made by somebody before.

By accident is one thing. But if they are literally just repeating the joke or anecdote they heard on tv, i get so mad. That's not being funny, then you're just a fraud. I usually don't call anyone out though, that would be mean :/

I never liked Rome or Tudors, but enjoyed Game of Thrones. Mostly because it's a fantasy serie, with some supernatural elements, not a depiction of real historical times, which I've always found boring, unless they're about WWII era. Reality as an entertainment can be tiresome.

I thought Game of Thrones saving grace was that it didn't rely too much on fantasy elements, like Wizards etc. and actually depicted the medieval times rather believable.
