2011 NFL Week 14 |OT| It's Time To Slay the Dragon!

Man the AFC is just terrible this year. I'm not sure there is a team in the conference that could even win a single playoff game if they were in the NFC. Super Bowl is going to suck this year.
 
So having not watched the game but read a couple of reports is Colt done? Sounds like he started off well but then made some lazy passes, including one int after Shurmur put him back out with a concussion? Doesn't help that Little can't catch still too.

I guess we'll be in the market for Barkley or RGIII (if he declares). Who is going to be after a QB around us? Washington? Miami? Seattle?

What? Brah, we spanked dat ass. 37-9? That at least earns us "win a playoff game" status. Only playoff ready teams take care of the bad teams like they should.

Also, lol at people choosing Bungles over us. With that bum Benson and half their defense hurt, I'm surprised honestly. Steelers just exposed them by running all over them with their terrible ass running game. Foster is gonna eat them alive, with Yates throwing one bomb to slow-ass Owen Daniels since apparently the Bengals are also missing two cbs.

AND they can't sell out their stadium so that shit will be like a neutral site game.

Yeah there's no ambiguity there. With some of the WR hits and incidental hits to QBs, I think the league is foolish on the penalties and fines it dishes out. But Harrison lowered his head then drove it upward. It was a dangerous hit with malice aforethought. If they aren't going to suspend him for that, then how can you suspend Suh for stomping a guy's arm?

It's gotta take a lot of mental gymnastics to be a Steelers fan.

I hope he's done he fucking sucks. The whole offense is fucking pathetic. They need playmakers at every skill position on the offense. Hopefully Barkley declares and they can go QB, WR in the first round and get Barkley or RG3.

It was a deliberate use of his head as a weapon. He does it all the time and last year he put Cribbs and Massaquoi out of the game with head to head hits. Massaquoi has been messed up ever since and should probably retire because he gets concussions so easy now. It's repeated and established behavior and isn't going to change.
 
Antonio was killing us early in that game, but boy did he come through. Really thought the game was over when Batch came in. (Damn, why is he even being dressed?)

For the Browns...uh...tough times. Massaquoi just can't stay healthy, Little is turning into Braylon, and Cribbs is probably going to start feeling disgruntled next year. I know the team has soured on Hillis but is Hardesty really the answer? :/

The Cribbs hit was legal. (Actually, at the time, both hits were.) Also, show me the last time he did it this season please.
 
So, now that the Steelers are clearly not a realistic threat, I guess the best Super Bowl we can hope for is Texans - Packers?

Story of the game and the week should be how Ben is the toughest qb in the game until Tebow plays and then the subject should rightfully revert back to all Tebow all the time!

Ben with one leg is slightly better than Fat Freeman so he should be able to drive the ball down and win the game in the closing seconds and complete what Fatman could not do.

Not so sure Yates or Garcia can do it.

Remember a couple days ago how you were laughing about close wins for the Packers? You've now nearly lost to the three worst teams in football.

Pathetic. At least the Packers win with explosive offense. The Steelers win by attempted murder. You've become what you hate...Ray Lewis.

I was about to say the same thing.

2 fumbles inside 5 yard line (both were great tackles by the Browns but I consider those fluke plays), our star and only qb gets serious injury after slanging it all over the Browns at the start of the 2nd quarter after a TD and 3 trips in the redzone. The fact we could beat them with a gimp qb was pretty impressive. We won't be able to beat real teams with a gimp qb but a win is a win and sometimes these kinds of wins are the most gratifying.
