Also, did anyone mention that on the goal-line attempts by the Steelers when it was 7 - 3, Mendenhall got nailed in the face with a helmet and all the announcers could do was talk about how awesome of a hit it was, and how the runningback isn't a protected player on the field?

Helmet to helmet on a runningback? AWESOME!
Helmet to helmet on a quarterback? SUSPEND HIM!

Remember that a puny 90 pound weakling from Long Island was enough to take down SoCal's best martial artists after a few weeks training from an extra of Happy Days. Niners have no chance against Pittsburgh Steel.

You're so right, but I hope you're wrong.

AFC North is by far the best division in the NFL. Only thing PIT and BAL fans can agree on.

Prisons are different in San Fransisco than they are in Baltimore.
 
Don't know if GAF is following draft stuff yet, but the few things I've heard have put Barkley in a negative light. Once they get to his "measurables", he'll drop. Short and below average NFL arm.

Such that Ryan Tannehill will go higher. It will still be Luck and then RG3, but my dreams of a bidding war for Barkley are probably over.

Though I chalk this up to hoping he can land Rams GM job, Lombardi on Bradford

And I think Sam Bradford, the talent around him is so horrendous, it's just really unbelievable how they could let that team slip the way they have. But he is so good that I think he could be a player that could really rise above it all if they get a team that could actually protect him, that could actually do something around him. I think he's really a good player. I think he's the sleeping giant in all this.

no, the NFC west being the worst division in football isn't a fact. it's your opinion. it's a fact that the AFC South has the least amount of wins of any division in football this year.

but you'll see next monday night when we smash the sorry ass steelers and you fade away to wherever you were before you showed up to talk trash on behalf of a 10-3 team!

I believe I was here before they were 10-3 but I did not know my GAF posts determined if I'm a real fan or not. After Monday night I will be right back in this thread.

At first I just read this as a jab, but in reality, it's pretty true. While our defense isn't as good ad 2000, it's definitely Superbowl caliber. Our running game is better this year, and our other offensive pieces are better too. It's also that Flacco can potentially be a better offensive QB. That said, he can also be terrible, turn the ball over and lose us games.

We're still going to win all due to his ELITE facial hair.
 
Was listening to an interview with Will Carroll of SI, who is sort of their injury expert. He said people in PITT attribute Ben's ability to play through injuries to his reaction to pain killers. For whatever genetic reason, his body is very receptive to their analgesic effect
