So terrible. Immaculately gorgeous, but awful.
Funny enough, this describes the vast majority of Jeph Loeb comics!

All this talk about Uncanny X-Force is making me interested.
Any recommendations for a starting point in the main series? (Preferably TPBs)

So.
I hold the opinion that Avengers: X-Sanction is a piece of shit.
Is there anyone willing to discuss the matter with me?
Dude forget that! WIDGET!!!

i want to read batwoman so badly but i have finals and juydsgfjhdbnmgfrbewuybkjhfds
;_;
i shouldnt even be on gaf right now but im addicted ;_;
Here is the plan:
Study and take breaks to read a page or two of Batwoman. Use it as a motivational tool. Everyone wins!
Unless you fail your finals, then I will feel awful for suggesting this. D:
Demon Knights was pretty nifty. And then you get hit by a bunch of Wildstorm references, which you think are kinda clever. And then you notice that there's also one RIGHT IN THE TITLE OF THE BOOK and you're kinda fucking amazed it took you this long to notice.
UXF Deadpool is best Deadpool.WAIT WAIT WAIT Deadpool? on a Team?
SOLD!!!!!!!!!
Will the poster be able to just "do a page or two" though.
how are the wildstorm references in the title of the book? I feel like an idiot for asking, i totally missed the stormwatch ties in the first few issues
This week's issue was titled "Merlin watches the storm."
Agreed on all counts, the end included.
Genesis is maybe my favorite new development in the X-World. JEAN GREY SCHOOL INCLUDED.
True story: So I've just left work and am on my way into Lafayette to hit the comic shop and pick up the new releases. I'm going over the things I'm supposed to buy in my head and thinking about how f*ck-awesome the Uncanny X-Force issue is going to be; I mean, it's polybagged and everything, how could it not be f*ck-awesome? So then I start thinking about how f*ck-awesome ALL of the X-books are right now, with Remender and Aaron, and Gillen and Liu, and Asmus and Wood, and Pak and David. Then, as I start thinking about WatXM and how much I'm looking forward to the next issue, that blacked out page from an upcoming issue -- the one posted in this thread -- pops into my head, and then it hits me like a bolt of lightning...
...what ifthe blackouts are covering up that Kid Apocalypse from Uncanny X-Force? Like maybe Fantomex gets found out and they free him, and Wolverine integrates him into the school so they can all keep a close watch on him and everything?
And then I'm in the car with my swag and the first thing I do is tear into my copy of UXF to see what happens. And BAM.
Isn't that just the craziest thing? :O
Remender and Aaron DID say there would be some crossover with their books, and that WATXM #4 spoils a bit of UXF #18. Plus, this just seems like a logical next step for Genesis. Kid aint fit for X-Force, but he can learn about being a mutant at Jean Grey's School. I expect we'll get a lot of fall-out/epilogue in the next issue.
So glad people are liking Remender's work... Now go and buy Franken-Castle!
When are Hal and Sinestro going to get married? They seem perfect for each other.
They already did. It was called 'Age of Apocalypse'. People still talk about it.
ive been frantically running around my apartment trying to find all the x-force back issues so i can re read the first 18 in one go
But of course. EVERYTHING in comics is just a poor man's version of something Bendis has written, is writing, or will someday write. >;DAoA was the poorman's House of M, c'mon you know this.
Bendis is a causality loop. One day he will go back in time and father Kirby, Lee, and Kane.But of course. EVERYTHING in comics is just a poor man's version of something Bendis has written, is writing, or will someday write. >;D
AoA was the poorman's House of M, c'mon you know this.
This is not the fight, time is broken....that makes no sense ...
maybe thats the point of things written by bendis.
He is the Tebow of comics, he does things by all rights that should net a loss. But he always posts the W.Bendis ignores continuity, even in real life
That's even nerdier than the "Magneto Was Right" shirt I have
