I don't say this often when we lose, but we got fucked by the officiating.
Bah. Only positive from this game was Malkin's stats padding. Another 2 on the board, as he climbs the ladder of the scoring leaders.
Hey, only 1 key player injured tonight! That's a good night for the Pens at this point.

Leafs penalties were well deserved and their PK is complete garbage but the refs sure did miss a few on the Sabres.
The Canucks better win tomorrow. Or I'm killing somebody.
What a shitshow of a game. God dammit Leafs. They made it interesting at the end but so what. They still killed themselves with dumb penalties and incompetent penalty killing.
And god I'm just boiling with anger thinking about the crosscheck on Kessel and Gaustad lying down on the puck.
Any word on Sid. Did he skate with the team?
I nominate Tabris as your victim.
Of the last 15 goals that the Leafs have given up, 10 have been on the PP.
The Sedins are licking their chops as they cuddle up and watch "Brokeback Mountain" before tomorrow night's game.
Thanks T-Town for another free win.
Love,

On the plus side, we don't live in Buffalo.
More lame insults being thrown against the Sedins. Why don't you just man up and call them faggots like you want to?
Bolland is a total piece of shit and I think this whole practice of calling the Sedins "sisters" is ridiculous.

No. On the injury front, everyone except Sid and Letang should be returning soon. We'll have to see what Paul Martin's injury ends up being, from the replay it's clearly something with his leg.
Letang has a concussion, who knows when he'll be back. Crosby's injury is officially listed as "Undisclosed". That doesn't sound good to me.
Another free win? Didn't the Leafs win three straight against Buffalo to finish off the season series last year? In the end it was a 5-4 decision - you guys deserved the win but you did not dominate the Leafs.
Sabres always seem to like sitting on a lead.
I don't know why you keep ripping on the sisters about the PP. It takes elite talent to put up almost half their points when the other team has less players on the ice.Of the last 15 goals that the Leafs have given up, 10 have been on the PP.

He's still one of our own but I'll think about it.

I don't know if I even want to watch the game tomorrow. God forbid the Canucks have even one good shift tomorrow night. The commentary from Hughson and Healy is going to be insufferable.
Leafs fan after the loss: "Must have been the officiating".
Canucks fan after a game where they have 7 penalties called on them, mainly grey area calls that wouldn't normally be called (small 2 second holds, picks, etc): "We should have played better in the first period"
As a Canucks or Habs fan, you just gotta get used to bad officiating / more calls against you. Whatever the reason for it (won't get into that debate), just mentioning simple fact we have more calls against us. Here's some stats for you:
Vancouver has been either in the top 5-10 of times shorthanded every year since lockout (I didn't look before). These are completely different styles from 2005 to us currently. We don't play between the whistles anymore and it hasn't improved.
Montreal has been either top or top 3 of times shorthanded the last 3 years.
Winnipeg is currently 2nd in times shorthanded. They were 16th last year when they were Atlanta. This is the same team as last year.

I think most of the Leafs fans complaining about officiating tonight have acknowledged in some form that the team lost because of the poor PK. Tonight was mostly about an extreme disparity in calls rather than unfair calls costing us the game.
Intent! I'm sure if Booth was fine afterwards and chummy with Porter he'd absolve him no differently. The fact is that neither player wanted to injure the other. We know this. They just didn't want to get beat and made a sudden decision to stick out their knee to stop Booth/Foligno. But that didn't help Porter, so why should it help McQuaid.Intent.
Post the video of the "identical" hit again. The first time you did my eyes rolled so far in the back of my head I couldn't see it.
Haven't said that. I don't know why there's been so many favourable calls going the Bruins way. I'm not about to allege organizational conspiracy. Just drawing attention to the hypocrisy and your ever-ridiculous logic in defense of the Bruins.MacAttack said:Why don't you just come out with your theory about how the Bruins are protected by the league instead of drawing this out any longer.
/depthHoly fuck. Just looked at the stats. How the fuck does Kulemin only have two goals?!?!?!?!!!

:lol
Wow. Just noticed that Spezza has a very "quiet" 36 points this season. Dude is also deadly on the draws and you never really hear much about him.
