I think this should be prefaced with the fact that the trade would be for both Sedins, or neither. They won't be separated. And if you want to consider that anyways, then I think it's another (more complicated) conversation.This is a question mainly for Tabris or any Vancouver fans. Would you guys ever trade either of the Sedins? What would be your price?
Ever? Maybe. They could suddenly slow in a couple years (they're 31 now) and yet some team would still be willing to send an awesome package our way. Trading them wouldn't be sacrilege in my opinion, if that's what you're asking.
The reason why I think they'll retire here is that they love the city and they are exactly the kind of players that would take a discount to stay on board. Circumstances may change, though.
In all honesty the Sedins are pretty much the only reasons I'm still a huge Canucks fan, once Linden retired that was pretty much it for me, so if the canucks ever lose the "sisters" for whatever reason, that will pretty much be it for me. I'll still cheer for the nucks, but it will never be the same.
