How's Montador doing for the Hawks this year? He had super high highs and very low lows last year with Buffalo.. but he was always my boy. He's one of the guys who I think would get an ovation when returning to Buffalo.

That's pretty much the best way you can describe it. There are games where he's our best d-man and others where John Scott plays better defense than he does. He's scored a few nice goals too. One thing that would help him more is if we had a better option at #6 though. O'Donnell, while not bad, just doesn't seem to have anything left in the tank. Lepisto is mostly a warm body at times and Scott is pretty bad on D.

Odonnell :( yeah he was out of steam for us last year but I always liked him. Stand up kinda guy

Got some bad news for you Manics:

Even as the Pittsburgh Penguins again put Sidney Crosby on the injured list, the team reportedly will not let his concussion issues affect contract discussions.

Instead, general manager Ray Shero expressed conviction to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that Crosby’s value would not be decreased.

“The only thing on my mind is signing Sidney Crosby,” Penguins general manager Ray Shero told the Tribune-Review. “We want him to be a Penguin for life. That’s the goal. Nothing has changed.”

#600 and 5 in a row, party!

I told you that the barbershop album was a better idea but no, that was just alcoholic marvie talking.

too be fair you introduced the idea to me after the chair to the head!

I also like how Blackhawks night games tend to turn into the rev and marvie random postgame conversation page haha

Yeah, a combination of the loss, seeing his disappointment and then drunkenly wandering HFboards, Twitter and Puck Daddy was a bad idea. A few bad eggs don't spoil the bunch. Overall Winnipeg fans were terrific and it was a pleasure to see the majority of them give him the reception he deserves.

Absolutely wrong to do that, just call it saltiness and pardon me.

It's all good, man. I much prefer our discussion here than some of the other stuff going on in this thread anyway.

And no kidding about the MTS Centre and the washrooms thing. If you have to go, you'd better leave a minute or so before the period ends, otherwise you may not get back in time. I miss the old one in the arena. it was at least better for the amount of people going through. Now we have to wait for like... ever.

I can grab beer and hit the washroom in the 300-level in just under 20 minutes. It's tough, though. There's no time to slack.

Another win, but it's getting kind of frustrating not being able to get the two points in regulation. This overtime/shoot out crap is frying my nerves.

Anyway, one point out of first in the East. :)

Oh, and Cats? Please stop wearing those ugly ass blue uniforms.
