Last season isn't eligible, as it did not premiere this year.

Also, please: remember to label your votes from 1-10. Otherwise they will not be counted.

Hmmmm Wiki says it premiered Jan 20th 2011, I think it premeired late for some reason. Figured this was reason people were voting it high as last season was amazing.

Okay, I'll play, if only to keep certain crap from being too high on the final list.

I only watch comedies these days.

1. Game of Thrones - the books are phenomenal and the show actually did the first book justice

2. Parks and Rec - this show just makes me feel warm and fuzzy

3. Community - something whacky and hilarious every episode

4. Breaking Bad - still a good season, but took a while to get going

5. The Walking Dead - not as good as the first season, but I'm still hooked

6. South Park - still great after all this time, definitely an above average season

7. The Office - not as good as it used to be, but still funny

8. Lights Out - cant believe this got cancelled..... :(

9. The Killing - the show was surprisingly good, not sure how long they can keep it up, though

10. The Soup - always good for a laugh

Sons of Anarchy was decent this season, but the last episode was sooooooo bad that it kept the show from my top 10.

Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia used to be one of my favorite shows, but the show has been terrible for a couple seasons now.

Louis CK isn't funny and the show is even less funny(first two episodes of the 1st season were ok, but it was awful after that). Fucking boring ass show. Its a tragedy its getting so much love, cuz the world would be a better place if the show was cancelled and we all got back to forgetting Louis CK exists.

The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are usually always good and from the few episodes I've seen this season, it seems this is still true but they aren't on my list cuz I haven't seen that many episodes.

And finally - thank the lord for DVR

You have The Walking Dead on your top ten. Be hopeful we all forget *you* exist.

1. Breaking Bad
2. How I Met Your Mother
3. Sons of Anarchy
4. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
5. Parks and Rec
6. Community
7. The Office
8. Modern Family

That's all I can think of. I do watch other shows, but nothing I would think are Top 10 worthy like Up All Night, Dexter, 2 Broke Girls, etc.

I don't want to say now that I've seen your list again, hehe.

Your #10, unfortunately

Ha-no worries. It was a guilty pleasure at first but I've grown to really like it.

Actually now that I'm revision my list-I see I forgot Curb!! I guess I have to bump American Horror Story anyways.

He also has The Killing. And he's acting like he can talk down to everyone else's tastes. Lol

Is 30 Rock eligible? I've seen a couple people post it but didn't the latest season premiere in 2010 then run into 2011?

1. Breaking Bad

2. Community
3. Parks & Rec
4. Game of Thrones
5. Alphas (my surprise pick - didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did)
6. Happy Endings (another surprise great show. Joke-joke-joke is a great format)
7. Spartacus: Gods of the Arena
8. Lights Out
9. Doctor Who

10. Greek

Need to watch Homeland. Catch up on Boardwalk Empire, Archer, Louie, & Justified.

Suburgatory just missed the cut. Same with Chuck. Same with Wilfred. The series finale for Greek is what pushed it over those three in my mind. New Girl was a decent show that didn't do enough to get on my list. The Walking Dead is too inconsistent.

Terra Nova/Torchwood were colossal disappointments. Once Upon A Time seems like it's starting to realize some of its potential, however limited it is. Grimm was an unexpected quality surprise.

Modern Family/The Office/30 Rock/Being Human (which wouldn't qualify under these rules) were just decent. Cougar Town can't qualify because its season started in 2010.

The Middle is good for what it is. However, what it is, just does not interest me.

Ick to CBS, except for How I Met Your Mother. Really disappointed that The Big Bang Theory never had the guts to follow up on its solid Season 2, and instead regressed back to making fun of nerds.

Skins was the worst show of the year. Yes, even worse than Whitney AND Glee.

Edit: South Park was also pretty great this year. Not enough to push it into the Top 10 though. The Simpsons this season has also been an unexpected surprise.

1. Breaking Bad
2. Curb Your Enthusiasm
3. Parks and Recreation
4. Louie
5. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
6. Community
7. Regular Show

Why December 31st? Why not give us some more time and push it back to January 7th. After all, that's when the GotY's deadline is. I'm behind in almost everything. Thankfully, American Horror Story is ending just in time.

Regardless, I'll put a list up for the time being:

1) Homeland: Season One (Showtime)
2) The Killing: Season One (AMC)
3) American Horror Story: Season One (FX)
4) Game of Thrones: Season One (HBO)
5) Person of Interest: Season One (CBS)
6) Glee: Season Three (FOX)
7) 2 Broke Girls: Season One (CBS)
8) Community: Season Three (NBC)
9) The Walking Dead: Season Two (AMC)
10) Survivor: Season Twenty-Three (CBS)

Will update once I get more watched. Though I don't see why we cover the seasons at weird times. Shouldn't this thread be done like in June or July and cover the Summer/Fall and Winter/Spring 2012 like the Emmy's that way we can focus solely on a show's particular season?

Other shows I've been watching but didn't quite make the cut: Falling Skies (TNT), Hell on Wheels (AMC), Once Upon a Time (ABC), True Blood (HBO), and Terra Nova (FOX).

Shows I need to get caught up in before I consider including: Breaking Bad (AMC), Justified (FX), Damages (DirecTV), Fringe (FOX), Modern Family (ABC), Dexter (Showtime), Pan Am (ABC), Supernatural (The CW), Treme (HBO), and Boardwalk Empire (HBO).

I'd say that's a pretty nice distribution between the major networks.
