Yeah the worst part of Bleach is when it tells a story
I wish they'd abandon that and just have a bunch of twinks fighting each other for 100 chapters straight as usual.

Wether it be smut or porn, the fact remains that Ive been reading quite a bit of "adult" manga lately, with B-shock being the safest one out of the lot.

It's a little hard to notice since the tones in Naruto and Toriko are 1000x worse, overshadowing the ones in Bleach.

The fuck? Kubo does awesome flashback chapters. I'm looking forward to these upcoming chapters more than I have any of the recent chapters.
The first half of this arc was very well done. The second half (so far) has been ranging from mediocre to awful. I think that this flashback has the potential to salvage how this arc is turning out.

It pains me to say but I agree. The flashbacks in Bleach are usually top notch.

Kubo has both good and bad flashbacks. The flashbacks for the fullbringers were awful. A lot of the character specific ones are pretty bad too.

Why is Crow such a fucking badass? This guy took on the Undertakers like they are jokes while the MC was crying and weeping like a coward.
The fights so far have been very good with new interesting abilities. I'm not liking Shiro going around with her broken ability helping the MC but whatever. The Owl guy was also pretty awesome.

Pretty much, I really enjoy the backstory and lore of Bleach. There just isn't really enough of it

I think the bleach backstory chapters/arcs generally seem better than the main story because there isn't 25 side characters dragging down the pacing.

That's just because that flashback happened to fill in a lot of backstory on the main plot that was left open.
The Fullbringers are characters he just inserted into the story right now, so we have no reason to believe in advance that their flashbacks mean anything other than fleshing out their character arcs.
Kubo seems weird though. It seems like a pretty common thing for mangaka to design a lot of characters, but Kubo seems like the only one insistent on using all of them.
Dunno if it's been mentioned, but it looks like JoJo fans will be able to get Rohan at the Louvre in English.

Apparently Akamatsu hasn't considered the UNFORTUNATE IMPLICATIONS involved with Ku Fei's insistence on marrying a man who can beat her up. Also, thanks goes to RedHawk for not translating Ku Fei with either horrible pidgin like the official releases or awkwardly leaving in her verbal tick in English.
Also, combining Chisame (best character) with Chachamaru windup jokes (best joke) surprisingly wasn't as funny as I'd hope. I was a little lost what was happening during that dialogue.

Liking Senri a lot. Usually not a fan of the stoic characters, but he seems to fall more toward the oblivious child end of the scale rather than the "cool" part. Bears are also cool.
Hope there's at least 1 doggirl at some point in the story.

Um....holy. shit. This is why I read manga, to come across shit that not only completes tickles the shounenbro ott fancy, but brews that all together with writing strong enough to stand on its own as a novel. Eren & Mishika, both of them are the epitome of bad ass, and the supporting cast is made up of almost unbelievably believable characters, if that makes any sense. People that respond as you'd figure one would in such the predicament. Its fucking amazing.
And this manga's use of motion, it's some of the best I've ever come across, really. Holy. Shit.

I thought i was the only one who reads it on gaf. I wanted to say that, but i thought no one knows who Rachel is. Yeah, the more i know about her, the more i dislike her.
The manga sells around 120-150k average for each volume. It's not an amazing hit but I'm sure it's a success for the author. I mean for what it's worth, the author is in the top 50 manga creators of 2010.
As for licencing, that really depends if Viz will give a shit anymore. They are the go to guys for Shogakukan manga so they are the only ones who will release it.
