You're probably done with ROH then, as I can't see them significantly improving the production unless Sinclair manages to sell the TV show to other networks and they start getting the returns they're after. Also, the production at the iPPV was bad, very bad (which I'm attributing to the fact that it was the first iPPV without Dave Lagana after he left for TNA, although it's still inexcusable), but in general the TV show is a lot better production-wise.

I don't think the fact that ROH takes itself seriously and is trying to present a more sports-orientated product is what's making it drab and boring, but rather that the top guys in the company are Roderick Strong, Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards. All three are fantastic wrestlers (although I'm getting a little sick of Davey and his 'American Strongstyle' crap), but none of them have the necessary personality and charisma when compared to previous ROH main event wrestlers like Austin Aries, Nigel McGuinness, Samoa Joe, CM Punk, etc.

Personally for me, PWG is the best wrestling in the US right now. Fantastic shows (seriously, no duds in the past 2 years and counting), a lot of great wrestling and some awesome characters. It's like half-way between ROH and CHIKARA, and while I do love CHIKARA and feel that High Noon was the single best iPPV of the year, I find there isn't enough diversity of styles outside of guys like Kingston & Brodie Lee and that this can sometimes make their shows a bit of a chore to watch in one sitting.

ROH needs to understand that they are going to have to invest some money if they want to grow their audience. Imagine how many new people probably ordered this ppv from watching the show and then got that as the product for $15. I imagine they probably lost alot of customers with the poor production. Sound quality was the worst part of it. I still need to check out some PWG stuff.

Smackdown tapings - Dark match

Skip Sheffield defeated Seth Rollins

It is going to be hilarious if they make those videos for Sheffield. Supposedly he is supposed to be coming back with his Ryback terminator style character.

If Boootaay, DMKehoe, and RBH didn't exist, bean breath would be my pick for rasslegaf MVP.

I need to see just how shitty ROH's production values are. Gimme Final whatever Bobo.

edit: nevermind bobo, co-mvp rbh stole your shine and took care of me.

The Bravados are going to die;

NOAH, 18.01.2012
Lazona Kawasaki Plaza Sol

3. Jun Akiyama vs. Harlem Bravado
4. Takeshi Morishima & Mohammed Yone vs. Ricky Marvin & Lancelot Bravado

She can be the new Lita. Kane can impregnate here, and finally get that baby he's been wanting.

But..that's not PG!

It'd still be funny in a weird way though. Then he'll get buried by HHH (or insert wrestler here). In retrospect, the whole Kane/Lita thing was fucked up.

I had to google Skip Sheffield because I forgot who that was.

Also dont google Skip Sheffield with safe search off.

So when are the raw ratings in?

I bet its up a bit from the last few weeks. This week they seemed better at keeping things moving during the second half of the show.

I can't believe there are people out there that want Chris Benoit in the Hall of Fame , who cares about his wrestling career? It means shit after he murdered his wife and kid. I would induct Disco Inferno into the HOF before Benoit.

All part of the Kane cycle...

1. Return of the monster, Kane's back and apparently other wrestlers should crap themselves in terror because he's got a new mask/new outfit/no mask
2. The monster run fizzles out before it truly gets started, usually because cowardly heels is kind of a thing in WWE or because someone thought a feud with Shane O Mac was a good direction.
I kind of liked that feud, it was hilarious
3. Kane languishes around in the mid card switching between face and heel every other month either doing nothing or becoming a tag team champion with whatever random partner he can find, apparently creepy psychos make for good tag team material.
4. Sudden Writing staff inspiration, a Kane love story! no creepy factor is off limits because it's Kane and nothing says high drama than a love story with a twisted freak who can either become more twisted or more human depending on which disatrous direction is taken.
5. Once the love plot runs its course (and Kane ends up the loser of course) Kane is no longer the big red machine, he's just Glenn Jacobs, time to put over some mid card wrestlers.
6. Kane takes a break either due to injury or burnout, writing staff think of how to head back to point 1 and the cycle begins anew.

PS: Undertaker can be inserted into any of these points as friend or foe, yes even the love stories

I'd rather not get into that conversation.

But, obviously, Chris Benoit getting inducted into the Hall of Fame is sure as hell not happening any time soon if it were to happen.

That's a can of worms I don't feel like opening right now, but I can see why people do want him in.

Wow, you summed it up perfectly.

I'm trying to decide which gimmick is the worst of all time.

Undertaker: dead guy, lightning powers, smoke
KANE: dead guy's bro, fire powers, stupid mask
shawn michaels: chippendale dancer

..Someone is legit considering me as one of the MVPs of the wrasslin threads? I will overlook the misspelling of my username since I am so overcome with emotion.

Bootaaay would be my pick though for providing so many awesome videos and info on the less mainstream stuff. Although I love you all equally.

Smackdown spoilers:
McIntyre was kayfabe fired after he lost a match to Zeke. Before the match Long said he lost him drive, and if he loses to Zeke he is fired.
Poor guy. He went from being one of the most pushed superstars to one of the most ignored superstars in a manner of months.
