No it was explained that if naruto lost the tug of war the fox would have taken over.
Like how Maou meets up with everyone through travel or vice-versa. All of a sudden the hero teleports in to hang out. Female knight, old man, new king, merchant, and Maou all coordinate a timely arrival for the upcoming battle. Normally there are hurdles to traveling all over but they quick-travel like TES. It's a bit much IMO.
Dunno man, they got teleportation magic, maybe they have like demonbook or something where they all schedule when to meet up

I find it funny how ridiculously off track the series has gotten, so that's probably for the best. Could end in so many ways, trainwreck or otherwise.
Detective Conan 457-459 (Teitan High School's Ghost Story)
Not my favourite mystery. I never liked Conan/Ran/Sonoko adventures and the ghost stuff wasn't that interesting.
Anyway I'm planning on finally catching up. This time I will take it slowly. I don't see the point of reading multiple volumes a day like I did last time marathoning Conan. I might read just one murder arc a day.
Who here is all caught up on the manga? I do remember few posters talking about the latest chapters before.

Rito made an original statement this chapter for TLR. "Wha...what's this? Soft, really big things are on top of me..." Hmmm, really Rito I wonder what they could be. Maybe the last 500 events didn't give you an idea to what the answer is...

As for the content here, well Rito has a new harem candidate I guess. We found out Yami's real name, which is usually a cliche' name but fits her very well. And there was a "tearful" reunion (hehe, I'm fucking hilarious). Oh but there was definitely some groping of Momo, which is not a bad thing, and we got to see basically a naked adult Yami. Kampai.

Damn, this is pretty damn creepy. Even with little dialogue, you can totally tell how messed up this situation is. Very uncommon and fresh idea to have a potential murderer finding himself in a horror scenario, at least without that being some kind of twist at the ending.

I don't think thats a coincidence either. Think about it.
He's alright but he is no Hiramaru who is the only interesting character in the manga.
I find it funny that the two main artists Eiji and Mashiro are quite the pair of losers compared to the rest. Shujin is at least married even though it is to a boring dip. Hiramaru is living his life getting engaged to Yuri-tan and even the monkey suit guy this chapter is going to parties. Fukuda and his team at least look like they are enjoying their lives.
Yet Mashiro is staying AWAY from this girlfriend on some ridiculous promise. Eiji is probably sleeping his nights away on his dakimakura. Both are slaving away doing nothing but work. Is the real competition an attrition battle of loneliness? Maybe those two are just looking for each other...uh-oh.
NO Shujin. Shut your face. Stop making up shit that makes no sense in the first place. It was fine calling it a breather chapter. That's concise and everyone gets it. Even other terms like relaxed and relief are fine. But this nonsense is not fine.

Think back on the HS reunion chapter. Mashiro's lack of a life is to exemplify the actual sacrifices needed to not just succeed, but dominate. Shujin got caught up in romance, he was then written to falter in his output for a long spell.

This is awesome. It's like Soul Eater with shades of One Piece. I love all 4 main characters that have been introduced so far. I think Hachi might be my favorite. All battle series should have a fighting bipedal dog.

Well, it isn't like this is the first time I thought this. It has been a parallel with the passing of Mashiro's uncle and his story. And there has been plenty of punishments for neglecting ambitions for personal enjoyments.
The reason I bring it up now is that with the recent Hiramaru event, there are no more loser characters to go along with Eiji/Mashiro. It is easy to tell that Shujin is more interested in letting Mashiro graduate to the next part of his life then dominate the manga world as a personal ambition. So you are left with Mashiro against Eiji, the battle of ambitions. This is fine since it shows the difficulties in pursuing dominance in manga, etc... But now there is such a black & white with the rest of the characters. Everybody is starting to just go along for the ride, which involves circular type redundant narrative loops might I add.

Not very hard to believe the kyuubi was training Naruto the entire time. if naruto failed his training the kyuubi would show no mercy and discard Naruto. it's had multiple chances to kill Naruto and never goes through with it. It wants Naruto to finally treat it as a partner and not a mindless tool. ultimately that's what all bijuu want.
Kishi has finally made me sympathetic to the Kyuubi more so then any villain.

It seems I ran out of long established manga in my wishlist so I'll just continue with Domina no Do and read Buyuden and some other stuff. Is there any big established thing I should take note of that I missed?

And a mascot, too. What the hell.
I said this before but really the best way to enlarge the series at this point would be to introduce partners to both sides. Could be love interest, could be a pet (therefore fill that silly mascot role), but it would be smart, useful as hell and make the conflict be way more intense due to a higher quality level of action from both sides. It would fit with popular Jump themes, it would allow for much easier to understand dialogues, and if they REALLY want breathers, it would make that happen too way more naturally than random SoL chapters which every reader will notice is filler to draw out the manga.
From how Hattori took it, though, it seems the readers will like the breathers and the mascot, so whatever

Basically, it needs drama and I agree. The best parts of Bakuman is when there was actual conflict or struggle. Mashiro ending up the hospital, the struggles with Tanto, and even some of the conflicting love story bits. Who cares about Nanamine because it didn't affect Ashirogi at all. It was just another stupid war declaration against their success. Same thing with Eiji since who cares anymore? Does anyone really give a shit if they surpass Eiji? Can they even do so since he has been owning them for the entire time? What about the slob Nakai's story? Fukuda and his crew? All forgettable or forgotten.
So yea, the issue is just a bunch of fluff that doesn't mean anything. It's like SoL of competing mangka and it is fucking boring. Hiramaru with his originality saves any shred of positivity left in the pages of silly dialog.

Naruto hated the fox because it was the fox´s fault that Naruto grew up alone.
We never knew the reason of why the fox was hating on everyone. Now we know that people only used the tailed beasts as weapons and totally disregarded the tailed beasts´ feelings.
The fact that Kishimoto is giving depth to the tailed beast makes me glad that these creature/summons are not just chakra weapons to be used at people´s discretion. It makes the beasts a multi dimensional characters, and can build on that to create peace in Naruto´s world.
