what's the term for the black stains/spots on oled screens?
32GB cards are in stock at Amazon JP. 9,500.

If you skip the initial-login, system complains about the card (it's clearly a UI flow-bug, question is how they'll eventually fix it).
What is the use of having US account at the moment though? Store is not online, and Vita refuses to see any PSP content that I download to PS3 on US account either. :/
Connect the AC adapter, wait until the PS button stops flashing orange and hold the power button for 20+ seconds. I think that's the correct order of handling this. Why is my PS light flashing blue and won't turn on?

Glad I preordered one of those for launch, Amazon ended up charging me 7700 yen...32GB cards are in stock at Amazon JP. 9,500.
Too bad the prices are more or less what you have to pay at the bigger retail stores.Amazon jp just sent me a email with '21% off' vita. Not the main unit, but around 20% off several games and a lot of the accessories.
Tempted to grab a cradle.
To be fair, I think that MH acutally looks worse on the Vita than it does in that video - the jaggies are a lot more visible. Still, <3 the second stick camera.Heavenly!
i'm just going to come out and say it
The Claw - and the mastery of it - and the options it gives you are ALL PART of Monster Hunter and it's awesomeness.
Second stick is okay in the "throwback to MH1 for swinging" way - but for camera control it is NOT UPTO SCRATCH for close range weapon users and ANYONE into MH will not give a flying fucking toss about this OR the 3DS alt control method. FACT.
P.S. ABSOLUTELY FUCK OFF to TARGET MONSTER in 3DS MH. What the fuck is that shit?! FUCK OFF. If you want to play an easy game, there's any number of them. Go play those. Jeezus.

But I don't want to spend half of my life just to master the claw, I like the second sticki'm just going to come out and say it

After all this shit about MH3G being hard - it's PISS easy. WTF. :/
it's MHP3 that's the one with nerfed difficulty not Tri G...
Not denying that - but in the grand MH scheme - 3rd is easiest , and Tri/TriG are right behind it.
Later Tri gets harder but then again so does 3rd. Just surprised at dome people saying 3G hard from start - just not seeing it
Anyways, sorry for the MH derail - back to the doom and VIVA the claw and fxxk the dual stick(i'm half joking a it clearly wasnt clear)
The hard part is later on when Deviljo rapes your face!
Awesome. I can't wait to use the right stick on MHF: U since Capcom didn't deem the US worthy of MHP3.
how is it outside in the sun?
I'd say it's better than DS, iPhone and PSP. Don't know about the rest of the new portable devices.Still pretty difficult to play in sunlight. On the train I usually try to pick a spot not on the sunny side. Can't compare to anything else as I have no PSP, DS or 3DS.
There's a chance we'll now that when the demo is released on the 17th.Any chance of WipEout being bilingual for the Japanese version? Doesn't matter much, but it'd be nice.
Yea I'd agree with that - compared with 3DS/PSPGo screens as well.Keiician said:I'd say it's better than DS, iPhone and PSP. Don't know about the rest of the new portable devices.
Yup.I've set up my wifi etc and am logged into my (US) PSN account. Does the Vita connect me automatically to the net/PSN when I turn it on? Not seeing the option to log in or out.
Something like Power settings (last option).Tinkered with the settings a little but haven't seen an option to extend the time it takes when sitting idle before it goes into power save mode. Where is this option?
Hysterical. Re-reading the article, they never even bought the digital version, and were therefore never qualified to write the story in the first place.I'll link it with Yoshida's response. While they did give a small header noting their error, they didn't run a story retracting their goof, nor change their headline.
I haven't played a claw-less MH but I have to agree from my experience with Portable Ops. Clawing keeps your right thumb free to, you know, actually fight.i'm just going to come out and say it

Just tried and no problem here.Am I the only one that can't access the jap store? Gives me (NW-9735-4) error
You're a life saver. I knew everyone's problem so far was agreeing to the deactivation. A few thought that they'll lose that activation if they decline. So basically account switching is now possible on a single memory stick, with the requirements being an internet connection and 3 minutes of free time, correct?
Sony will likely be forced to cut the price of the PS Vita from 24000 yen to well below 20000 yen very soon. The upcoming US launch could be a true debacle for several reasons. Sony has decided to price Vita at $250, higher than the Amazon Kindle Fire. The hottest games like the latest Uncharted are priced at $50, while many other major titles are $40. The pricing seems delusional in light of the Japanese response to the PS Vita.

You're late, Fart. There's a thread with over 800 posts dedicated to that article.
hey guys, those of you who have imported a vita and dont have an official PSN store in your country, does near work for you guys? it cant seem to find my location.
i have a HK vita using a Singapore PSN account and i live in Brunei.
near can't seem to find my location. tried using wifi and 3G, no luck.
anybody else not able to have near find you?
I still would've preferred support for multi accounts obviously, but this is much, much, better the what we initially thought, thanks to Sony's confusing reports.Yup. What I want to know is if anyone has tried Japanese DLC on an American account yet.
Nice avy~posting for the nostalgia.
I'm in Australia and its working fine for me. It doesn't find location occasionally but it usually does on the second attempt. Surprised to see 10 people playing near me.
are you using your australian PSN account on it?
