The Post Pictures of Yourself thread is already proof that there are a shit ton of good looking people, it should come to no surprise selection bias or not. Also, it's a shame we don't have room for the real pic on top of our old avatars for recognition's sake, but also to compare. Right now even just looking at the names v. avatar is really interesting.

Did you use some kind of special film or filter for your pic? It's got that grainy, old look that I see in my mom's kid pics from the '70s, and I like it!
