Last time I was in El Paso I saw Le Butcherettes live. I know they are from Guadalajara but the atmosphere was electric.

Old Mesilla is a great place to eat, I know that.

I went to NMSU so I spent a lot of time in Juarez. Difference between me and most college kids at the time was that I also went during the day.

Not all of them. My dad was 5'9" or 10". Of course, I'm barely hitting 5'4", but I AM the tallest woman in my family now! My sister is married to a Puerto Rican, though, and he's, um... about 5'0" even...

My family is from Jalisco. My Dad, me and 3 older brothers are all over 6 feet me being the tallest at 6'3. My mom and two sisters are around 5'7.

I spent the first 24 years of my life in New Mexico.

My family (both sides) grew up in New Mexico. Some are still in Albuquerque, some in Taos and El Paso.

Heh, my dad was around 5' 6" but my oldest brother is 5' 10" and everyone else got stuck with the short genes, 5' 6" and down.

You can look at me with nostalgia now, that's something.

I was thinking about joining GlassesGAF too but I don't have any good ones with glasses on. Don't have a tie other than one of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck playing football, that is however one awesome tie.
