Claymore
I didn't get the last panel. Who's the awakened being supposed be? Clare?
Do they have weird anime anatomy where they're clearly just naked, but there's inexplicably no nips
I think it's the shounen brand where they cover their body parts with their arms and stuff, wait this conversation got wierd fast.
Fun Fact: Muu's new nickname; Bulu is supposed to be the indo-malay translation of feather.
Problem with is, feather is 'bulu pelepah'. Bulu just means fur in general. What makes things hilarious is that 'bulu' is usually used to refer to pubic hair.
Therefore I really can't take this arc seriously at the moment.
Maybe it's just been so long since I read Death Note but ... I don't actually remember anything even remotely close to as ridiculous as the two examples here.
So, uh, Murata's new one-shot came out (just raw though). Awesome art, amazing landscapes, medieval setting.. and a gag manga, apparently. Hahaha.. ha.
Oh well, at least it ends with a usual "expect more from Murata in the future"
The color pages looked so good too. Argh.
The final message ("expect more etc") could somehow maybe in some distant reality, imply that this will become an irregular serialization, i.e. chapter every couple issues, as a one-shot in the same setting, like that one series in Jump right now. But that would be the worst case scenario.I just went through the RAW and I'm not too impressed, seems like an abridged version of what Toriyama normally does.
Is this really a one-shot? If so it kind of disappointing. I don't even remember seeing the characters on the cover in this.

It's supposed to be short though, like 60 chapters or so.Silver Spoon
It's nice that this is selling well. The best new manga I've read. It's been constantly good since its start.

Stop lying! I hate you!
Maybe she'll get to Fullmetal Alchemist II: Al's Revenge after Silver Spoon finishes. It totally would be badass if she really did a weekly series about Al going to Xing after the end of FMA.
Man i hope not maybe some side stories but FMA had a good ending would hate to see it get mess up.
Unless you not being serious
Can I read it right now or should I wait till I'm finished with SK? We're on ~ch50 right nowShaman King Zero
Not bad for a flashback one-shot.

How long has Claire been MIA? Wasn't she the MC?
This manga doesn't work as a one-chapter-a-month affair.

Why wouldn't I be serious? Al just left at the end to go do some adventuring, it's not like they have to go back to Amestris and fight the three remnants of Father that want to resurrect him.
Sequels are only bad as a rule when they intentionally rehash the original plot elements or undo the original plot resolution to recapture the magic of the first (i.e. when characters break up between series just so they can revive the romantic tension, i.e. Elena and Drake breaking up between both Uncharted 2 AND 3.). Al really just went off to Xing without any particular purpose and I don't remember them really fleshing out much about Alkhestry, so I don't think it would be that bad.
Take solace in the fact that you will probably never have to watch the series go downhill/jump the manga shark because of the length. In Arakawa I trust....Th...That's okay all good things must come to a end.

People with poor memory shouldn't really read monthly mangas as soon as they are out and instead just read them in huge blocks, it just make the manga less appealing or look bad to other people. I have no problem understanding this manga and D.Gray-Man, so am always surprised that people can't follow the story's progress.

Anyone have the link where she talked about when she wanted to end it? I have it in my head that the series is going to end with the main character's graduation for some reason.
Surely you can't just attribute it to poor memory, people fapped to Fullmetal Alchemist just fine, and have no problems with Soul Eater either.

God damn this manga is getting slow.
I had to skip over all the peachy bs. Those talks ... they just drag on and on.
Naked woman is pissing my off with all this riddle talk.
And why the hell does everyone seem like they're walking on eggshells around Franken Fran? They act like they're scared to ever talk to him ... starting to hope he dies just so that people will stop focusing on him and his insanity addiction or w/e. Without Madusa I don't care for him :/

That's like 1 out of every 3 romcom that involve childhood friends. Is there some Japanese trope about promising to marry someone and then forgetting who they are entirely, but then also wanting to still marry them? Because I've seen this occur like 5 times. It was even retconned into Ah! My Goddess.
I disagree. I like Claymore and D Gray Man, but those series are pretty long winded and just unmemorable at times. And as someone said Full Metal Alchemist was monthly too, and most of us didnt have problems with it.
So, really... Since when could the Claymore ladies float? Is this new?
Kamisama no Iutoori 1-6
This is one of the coolest "trapped and forced to play a game of death" series I have read. Starts out with bad shit happening and just escalates from there. It's already gotten to a ridiculous scale after only a few chapters. Kind of reminds me of the early stages of Gantz.
This is a good example of what I am talking about. He has no idea why his allies are scared of Stein. Completely forget that Stein is the #1 Meister, is lethal even without the use of a weapon. That Stein is a ticking time bomb because he is so close to the Kishin(He can attack either side because of his growing insanity, the author even puts it there in that chapter). You also wonder why he ask Maria to turn into a weapon instead of the current #1 Weapon Deathscythe? Most likely because Maria has a calming aura effect that reduces his insanity.

Yeah, it was the best direction to go for this story.Silver Spoon
Glad they went this route with Pork Bowl. Much smarter and better.
