Nothing particularly different in the few hours I have been away. We did reach a shocking conclusion that perhaps by new years it will be male realpic GAF standing all alone but then more girls showed up and it was all good. the end.

Same here. It's like an unspoken secret between all guys. Some girl in high school started wearing something similar during senior year and I went from zero interest to moderate crush instantly.

But really, I think you have a great point. Familiarity is something most people are comfortable with IMO, so talking to a new person who reminds you of someone you know may put you more at ease. Well, seems to be the case with me at least.
