I agree. I do welcome anyone on the forum to join in on the fun though, we joke about having individual groups (aviator,necktie,beard) but that's just us being nerds. What this is really about is trying a more personal approach to the forum, personally seeing someones face has changed the mood of this thread in a direction I have not experienced on GAF. I encourage anyone to join in on the fun if only for just new years, we are all good people in here (so far.)

You should join GAF Tinychat. It changes everything you've ever thought about GAF. Like I said before, this thread is very tame compared to the stuff I've seen (oh, and gurl... I've seen some shocking stuff with Gaffers) and heard on GAF Tinychat.

I actually love my glasses and love the way I look in them. I can see relatively well without them (as far as getting around goes) but if I read without them I get headaches and I can get headaches if I go an entire day without them (actually I don't know what it would be like to go an entire day without glasses without reading... I'm always reading. So scratch that.) I tend not to wear them for pictures though since I always have the worst luck with getting glare in them and having them obscure my eyes.

i'd say i spend more time out of glasses, since i prefer the way i look without them, but i'm blind as a bat and sometimes need a break from wearing contacts. i'm sure you're just as lovely in glasses. i can assure you, my pic is shot from the right angle for maximum flattery.

I've never been able to get a pair of contacts to feel right, so I haven't been without a pair of glasses for nigh on 18 years.

My nose is permanently indented because of this I think. I can't imagine going outside of my own house without my glasses on.

I look serious in every picture of mine. I just can't do the fake smile for the camera thing unless I'm really genuinely smiling. It always ends up looking so fake.

I've seen your other pictures and you look just as pretty, with or without glasses!

I think I'm going to upgrade mine. I kinda dig the rimless glasses over the black frame ones that are so popular these days. But glasses are so expensive, and since I don't really use em much I'd rather spend that money on something else that I do.
