Ive been really impressed with AR these past few games. Dude is actually playing smart basketball (shocking!)

His defense is realy impressive because he is actually staying on the floor and contesting shots by keeping in front of his man and sticking a hand in his face. Only committing while the ball is in the air

Still is a bit of a black hole on offense, but at least he is hitting the shots so far.

And WTF was up with that no call when Rubio got knocked to the ground?

Refs have been kinda crappy this game as well. First love gets a mysterious call on him and then doesnt get the call when he is going for a layup, now dirk just takes on Rubio...

Mavericks are purposely tanking this year to protest not being able "properly" defend their title in a 82 game season.

Honestly now would be a great time for Dirk to get "injured", get a top 5 pick and then get Dwight or Deron as a free agent.

I figure that what really happened is westphal talked to him after his post game comments and DMC told him what he really thought of his coaching, probably including 'I'd rather be somewhere with a real coach'. Which is plenty of a reason to bench him if he isn't buying into the coaching.

I doubt he actually demanded to be traded though.

Wes is a terrible coach

I don't disagree.

The kings have problems on every level though.

The GM put together a team with no role players, just a bunch of chuckers who think they are stars. The addition of Hayes helps, but they still have no one who can run the offense and get people easier shots.

It doesn't help that westphal's idea of an offense seems to be almost entirely terrible isoball

It also doesn't help that the several of the players(not just DMC) have bad attitudes and either don't care or pout when things go bad.


Just a whole stack of problems..

Sounds like Adleman isnt going to change his starting lineup for a while. Course, I dont think that that matters all that much. Much more important who gets the most minutes and who finishes the game, and its either going to be Ellington or JJ that is going to be in at the finihs
