I seriously can't smile, at least not a big smile. My mouth is way too small and I can't really open it enough to actually look like a normal smile. Fucking dentist is also always pissy about it, "open your mouth more!!!".

I'm getting up at 8 to see the Rose Parade(on TV).
Related: Born and raised in Southern California and being born on new Years I always felt a special connection to the Rose Parade. Waking up to it on my birthday was always great, yet I have never seen it in person. maybe next year i shall.(and when it falls on a Sunday and they move it to the second I Don't feel as special).

Strangely enough, I got more stressed during the Christmas break, since I got a significantly shorter teaching break this year. Not to mention that I have a lot of vacation time saved up but no feasible way or time to use them...

What makes it better is that it was supposed to be around 10 hours shorter, but u-fucking-nited decided to cancel my seattle leg and reroute me through houston [initially newark, but even then they didn't actually book seats, assholes] with a 4 hour layover. Fucking awesome. Apparently it was due to some fines they might have incurred somehow. /rant
