NFL 2011 Wild Card |OT| Where Everyone Is In Like Flynn

The team that contacted the Panthers about Chud is the Jaguars. Makes sense after seeing what he did with Newton, they'd probably want him to work with Gabbert to see if they can salvage anything from him.

Poor Jags. Chud is definitely not going to take the first offer. Buffalo should give him a big fat blank check and let him fill in the numbers though.

Lovie press conference coming up now. Probably be nothing interesting, but we should see if Martz is coming back!

I said dont worry bout us, akers will throw for tds if he has to, he proved that yesterday! You worry about your texans

Haha, I forgot about the Niners secret passing weapon.

Unlike the Ravens and Packers, we don't lose to bad teams.

But we come close. I was at the KC game. It should never have been that close.....

That being said, I am confident that the Steelers will step it up for the playoffs, and go as far as the AFC title game.

Wow at the Jets massive implosion. Good to see the hatred for Santonio. Holmes is such a piece of human garbage, down 21 points -> Celebrate a first down, stupid fuck.

Shit... don't feed his bs trolling.

At least the Panthers look like they'll try to entice Chud to stick around:

@josephperson ...Rivera would not identify team. Indicated Panthers might offer Chudzinski an extension/raise.

Hmm. Rex Ryan addressed the Jets today in tears over their performance this season. He'll be holding some sort of press conference in a few hours. Francesca just called him Weeping Rex.

So much ammo for when I'm back in the office.

Whoever takes the Jags job is a fool if a prerequisite is to salvage Gabbert. With low cost of 1st these day, a coach should be free to move on if he doesn't like a guy. That's why STL is unique. They simply can't move on from Bradford. We'll see how much he's thought of by who they hire, b/c it will be a prerequisite there to fix Bradford

Interested to see how this turns out in the long-run.

I wish they'd wrestle the NBA contract from ABC so we can get that awesome theme back!

If we match up their absolute worsts: Mike Florio vs. Colin Cowherd....which network is better?

You have completely ignored the fact that your team got humiliated by a bunch of backups with nothing to play for in a game that had they won, they would have had a shot to not get humiliated in New Orleans.

Also, Stafford is classless:

Signing vaginas. Pure class.

How do you know he's signing her vagina? He could be signing her thigh

Also, a couple of years after being the only team to have two 1,100 yard rushers, the Panthers became the first team in history to have three 700 yard rushers this season.

I fully expect this to be the channel that gets the new full-season Thursday Night Football package.

I can't begin to express how disappointed and disgusted I am that they seem to be building the network around a lying scumbag like Florio. I'll give it a shot for a week but I expect the worst.

Lovie Smith press conference is boring. It's all about catching up to the Packers and making the moves this off season to beat them next year.

Talk is cheap, Lovie! We'll see if the moves this off season will get it done.

NBATV used the theme for a bit a few years ago, but it just wasn't the same. There was no heart. You knew it was a lie.

In a world where Rodgers punches cancer patients, the Tubster is branding her vagina with a tire iron.

As proven Rodgers is holding packers down. Flynn did what no else in the history of packers have done. In a intense meaningless game.

Too bad baby rodgers was too worried about not getting hurt. Taking a game off to protect his QBR title. Thank god for flynn, a qb that knows how to play in a meaningless game. He was all balls.

How about catching up to Detroit first, amirite?

You're preaching to the choir. Go back and read every single weekly thread. I am positive there are calls for Flynn in every one of em.

Thank God you don't have to worry about that anymore, eh? Made it, Bob! Top of the world! Or does Houston play GB next year?

In mid-March 2006, the Miami Dolphins were trying to decide between trading for quarterback Daunte Culpepper with Minnesota or signing free agent quarterback Drew Brees of the Chargers. One problem: Brees was in the early stages of rehabbing after major shoulder surgery, an operation that left in doubt whether he'd be near 100 percent for the start of the 2006 season. Brees had a generous (all things considered) offer from New Orleans of six years and $60 million, which seemed a little risky considering the surgery.

On the night Miami had to decide which way to go, owner Wayne Huizenga was out to dinner with a friend in Palm City, Fla., not far from his personal golf club, The Floridian. "I want them to sign Brees,'' Huizenga said at one point. "They want Culpepper.'' He said coach Nick Saban and the Dolphins' football people were worried about Brees' shoulder. Huizenga got a call on his cell phone and walked outside.

When he came back inside the restaurant, Huizenga said his football people were insistent that Culpepper, for reasons monetary and football and health, was a better choice than Brees. "I told them, they're the football guys, not me,'' said Huizenga. But the owner repeated that if it were up to him, he'd have signed Brees.

Miami is 38-58 since, with zero playoff wins; the Dolphins will have their fifth head coach since that night (including interim boss Todd Bowles) sometime in the next month. New Orleans is 62-34, with a Super Bowl win, with one coach.

Amazing how much damage one shortsighted decision can do to an organization.

Its just where Rodgers belongs.

What's worse: the guys who is an obvious cancer that everyone knows about and can deal with appropriately, or the cowardly cancer who pretends things are ok and only mouths off to the media when given anonymity.

There are a ton of things wrong with the Jets, sounds like Holmes is just a scape goat at this point.

It would only be fitting for Holmes to join the Packers next year - when he throws one of his fits, Rodgers will walk right past him.

holmes is an asshole, but "celebrating a first down when down 21 points" is pretty low on my list of "things that make you human garbage."

Hopefully we'll trade Rodgers to the Jets for a couple second day draft picks that we can slot into McCarthy's unbelievable system to yet again run roughshod over the lowly Lions.

Fucking losing to the scout team. Truly a new low, and in the best season of your franchises pathetic history....too funny.

All week before the game you're salivating and talking shit about how you want the Giants to win so you could beat them and demolish Eli. Now it's a meaningless game and the loss is sending you to New Orleans which you believe will be a huge upset win for the Lions.

Maybe it's true what they say - that fans take on the personality of the coach. It sucks, for your sake, that Schwartz is a loud mouth delusional piece of shit who makes claims he can't backup.

Its only because the Lions didn't want to unleash Drew Stanton on the world.

Fair enough.

Can you please change your avatar to Flynn. Back your words Ez. Back your words.

Like every single year for the past five, I will change my avatar once Spring Training starts. This isn't complicated. Next fall when whatever individual SI decides to choose to represent the 14 time World Champion Super Bowl Defending Champion Favorite to Three Peat Champion Champions, I will use that as the avatar. As was done before so will be done again.

Or maybe I'll switch it up and choose Ron Paul tomorrow. Can't really say.

Adorable. No hope of beating us, so you join us. Next start saying HoScheffler
