I admit it, I was wrong. While I was correct that he would get hurt, I had no idea that he was such a selfish douche as to put himself and personal glory ahead of the success of his team. But hey, he almost got that record! Congrats!

It would be really sweet to knock your team out of the playoffs in your home stadium as a little payback for the fraud team comments you made about the Falcons in the beginning season. :P

Should be a good game if our D-Line can get any kind of pressure on Eli and Mularkey and Ryan don't get too pass happy and stay committed to the run game.
 
Quick penalty update: the Packers have not committed an offensive holding penalty in 6 games. Most amazing and disciplined line in history.

i read a stat yesterday at 49erswebzone that neither of our OT's have committed a holding penalty all year.

at first i thought this had to be inaccurate but then i remember they don't even bother to block/hold anyone, they just let them right in to crush alex :(

I watched a football game with my dad for the first time yesterday. Raiders/Chargers. I spent a good 5 minutes trying to convince him that no, Antonio Gates is not Mexican.

Just watched their press conference. Really weird that their owner makes no public appearances. He had Demoff fire Spags and Devaney, and then talked to them over the phone.

Normal press conference crap. Will take their time. No schedule. All media reports are lies. Only notable thing was McDaniels is still under contract but will get with him later on what he wants. Leaves open possibility that Fisher comes and McD runs offense

I'm actually happy that the Niners have returned to relevance. Brings back fond memories of the 90s. Hopefully we'll have a repeat of the 1997 NFC Championship Game and send them packing and then get our vengeance on the Broncos in the Super Bowl.

how do i defend alex smith aside from saying that he has been decent this year and hasn't cost us any games? i've said that harbaugh's system is exactly that, a system where just about any QB can succeed. now could he make josh freeman a decent QB? of course not. the sin of gluttony is a hard one to overcome. but just about anyone else can succeed. that's not an insult or a compliment to alex!
