again two turnovers over the last 2 games.

Let's not mix facts.

but that's box score turnovers. until this year, you really think he could be starting pg? defense and 3pt-ers, that's what he is known for, not play-making.

anyway, nothing will change with baron, he'll still have a license to jack up shots.

Same thing Chauncey would of been doing.

I know he's not a starting point (not really even an ok backup PG), but shitty offense lost the game:

Fields 1-7
Harrellson 0-4
Bibby 0-3
Walker 2-6

Douglas and Anthony were the only guys TO shoot. Don't be surprised if STAT and Shump rush back. Baron ain't coming back until 1st week of February.

Jacking up 3's =/= Jacking up ASSHOLE 3's

C'mon Shumpy, heal that knee!

yeah your right. plus amare has been pretty rusty. just wish the go-to play when the Knicks are struggling isn't just chucking up a three. Keep hearing about Chandler & Stoudemire getting all the points of the P'n'R and yet it's rarely played.

oh well, it'll come. I hope.

Bullshit. His most optimistic outlook was 2 more weeks. As a slasher/jumper YOU DO NOT RUSH A KNEE LIGAMENT SPRAIN. It's dumb, dude is risking a more serious injury.

He was shown doing full cuts and dunking during Knicks practice yesterday/today. He's got a big brace on it as well. Makes me think that the strain wasn't too bad. He's young as well, which helps a lot.

As long as he wears the brace and is in shape to go, he should be alright. I agree though, his presence would help, but more time to practice and slowly work his way back would be more ideal.

i dont understand why melo and amare dont run pnr

like i get why

but i also dont actually see why it wouldnt work
They double the cutter and dare the outside guard (Douglas/Fields) to hit a 3. Plus Chandler and his man occupy the same space, you can't have Chandler behing the 3-point line. The thing that made it work so well in Sactown is Harrellson camped behind the line and it was Sacto.

It was easier last year because either Amar'e was the center and/or teams really didn't seem to play the Carmelo/Amar'e PnR well.

I'm with hot dog on this one. The kid's best asset is his freak athleticism. I don't want to risk breaking our shiny new toy.

Should I stick with Marvin Williams or pick up Ben Gordon?

Do you have anyone else you can drop? Williams is having a great start fantasy-wise, but the Hawks played their fifth game in seven days, so he may be fatigued (minutes down in the last two games).

Gordon should be owned though, and if Williams is your only guy to drop then I would do it. Just gotta be worried about Knight later in the year as his minutes will build as the season moves along. Gordon is doing a good job securing his spot for now though.

Stanford's football coach is my new vote for idiot coach of the year, wow.

Great win by the Mavs tonight. It wasn't perfect, but, other than game 4 against the Lakers, what is? It was good to finally see a glimpse of what this team can be like.

Nice to see you not only bitch about your own coach, but others as well.

Game 4 was close to perfect but nothing beats winning the regular season MVP and then getting bounced by Baron in the first round.

Now THAT was perfect.

Heat have yet to figure out the Zone D. I hope more teams show the Zone towards the Heat for all 48 minutes, these guys need to figure it out.

More specifically, Wade needs to figure it out.

do you know what the dumbest thing about it is

its literally the easiest d to play against

i have no idea why it befuddles them like it does

Lebron should've gone to college, Bosh should've stayed in college.

Pokes won, woohoo!

Thunder lost, :(

I'm still pretty happy though, I'm on the bus on the way back to the hotel right now in Phoenix.
