He is, just not at all in the way he's portrayed in the Dos Equis ads. I remember him telling a story about trying to circumnavigate the globe in his boat with a friend, or maybe his wife, i can't remember.
More than anything else, it was wild and maybe a little disheartening to see him come in at 6am as himself, and emerge from wardrobe/makeup at 10am as the character we all know him as. Illusion was shattered for all times

It's made even more confusing as a kid because the options are like

- African
- Asian
- Indian/Native American

Well, I guess I did hear a lot of people gushing over how adorable half babies are. I guess it's something different/interesting. But then I hear all these terrible things about how half children are treated in school :< Maybe it has changed in recent years...
