I would be annoyed. I have no desire to play someone else's character in Elder Scrolls. If my roommate did that to me, I'd slap the controller out of his hands. Then again, we bond over being total assholes to each other.

Oh god. My mom came over to my apartment tonight to celebrate my company formation, and the first thing she said 10 minutes into the celebration was "My god, thetrin, you really do swear a lot."
I guess I didn't really think about it before, but I really do swear a lot.
Nah, it was my character, he just set it up for me (after he'd been playing God of War all day, he figured I'd want a shot at screen time.) I just felt weird about it because I usually choose when I play. I also didn't know if I should play since I really ought to do some studying since I've bee GAFing all day... oops.

Fair enough. I just can't share a character with someone. To me, if I create a character, it's exclusively mine, and it represents me, and I just can't let anyone else play it. Doesn't matter who they are.

Heh, pretty much stumbled upon it, myself. Started seeing all these "real people" avatars and thought, "wtf is going on?" Did a google search and voila!, discovered the shenanigans.
I actually just got a new phone and... I set the Aperture Science "jingle" as my ringtone
It is so calming and no one can tell it is from a video game!
Of course, I tried to set SPAAAAAAAAAACE as my ringtone, but my phone wasn't having any of it.
