I've been thinking about OKC getting out of the west this year and I just don't see it...the west is so dysfunctional that it could happen, but still tough to envision it actually happening for me.

Jazz are sure getting some insane injury/personal matters/suspension misfortune from their opponents to start the year. Sucks for the Grizzlies, so many major injuries already.

Hey guys, who would have guessed that back-to-back-to backs and 6 games in 8 night scenarios would produce lots of injuries? What a crazy thing to consider as a possibility!

If you're in the Nile and you don't troll, you'll end up way downstream and it's not awesome. You'll also be a sucky Fisher.

I'm hoping I don't get banned for that one, but I probably deserve it.

Why would you get banned for that?

I agree. I just get grumpy when someone doesn't have the ability to switch gears based on where a conversation is heading.

Wouldn't have happened if they had Gasol.

making me sad ninja. Scola still putting up his 20/10 a night, don't need another pf.

Maybe knee but in less than a year we have had 1 shoulder, 1 knee (two if you could Henry) and 1 achilles.

I would call that an injury free season!

Not trying to diminish your injury woes, just pointing out the ridiculousness of Portland's injury woes over the years.

Both Celtics and Bruins are playing New Jersey teams tonight. It's still amazing how many NY fans don't consider them NY teams, yet love Jets/Giants.

With a beard like that, is anyone surprised?

To be fair, the Bills and Sabres don't even get mentioned when it comes to NY sports either. The Nets/Devils are Jersey teams, while I think most of us feel that the Giants/Jets are NY teams that happen to play in Jersey secondary their stadium deal. They played here prior to heading over the river.

I know, still heading over there still makes more sense and is normally easier than heading to some of the other stadiums. Bills and Sabres are a different breed. They are still New York, but have little to do with the city environment.

Islanders are the only ones kinda way out there. Hope they move to Brooklyn with the Nets.

Islanders and Nets would be awesome in Brooklyn, IMHO.

Still, nothing would make me happier than to see the Cyclones made a MLB team and the Mets made a minor league team. Baseball is SUPPOSED to be here in Brooklyn.

If the Isles do move, I don't think it will be within NY. It'll be to some place that doesn't have the fanbase to support hockey, like Atlanta (what's wrong with the NHL, giving them a team twice?!) or Kansas City. Sucks for the diehards on Long Island though, of which there are tons. Deal with them in droves at work and they really love the team, too bad local government and ownership has really screwed them over. That dump of an arena doesn't help either.

More Frank rage.

I was getting worried, but, thankfully, Mike Wilbon has started up the "Kevin Love to the Lakers!" chatter. Because that's realistic.

Question is, can Minny keep [Love]? Lakers have already expressed an interest...And why wouldn't they? He's a California kid...may turn out to be a first-team all-NBA player this season.

It was Sharp, not Rodeo.

Briefly, then I took it back.

Washington @ Orlando
Charlotte @ New York
New Jersey @ Boston

I wanted Sharp back, now that you root for a winning team.
