Amar'e's defense made me piss straight up fire. I can understand is bad man to man in the post. Is man to man against another 4's face up though should not be bad at all. Boris was styling is Amar'e out of his shoes.

Both Melo and Amar'e are going to have to start playing defense. You can't have two of the five players not playing any defense and then you have Fields who has his own problems with athletic guards at times. Just a recipe for L's unless you are putting up buckets. Gallinari is one of the best defensive 3's so at least when we had him instead of melo we only had one guy slacking on defense and Gallo was good at switching and covering for other guys. Too bad Melo doesn't care about that stuff at all.

And the Knicks are still running D'Antoni's defense. Why hire Woodson if you aren't going to let him run the offense? Donnie freed up that cap space and got assets and then Dolan jumped back into the driver's seat. Knicks baby!

They can fire Pringles, but it won't solve any of their problems. Denver is just as good as they were when they had Carmelo so that tells you everything you need to know about him. Volume scorer, streaky, plays no defense. Same goes for Amare. They gave up too much for Carmelo and they're going to regret that for a long time.

Chandler probably isn't rebounding cuz he's always helping on defense putting him out of position. Melo, Amar'e, and their PG play no defense. Hard to win games like that without a prolific offense, which they also don't have.

This here, is absolute fallacy. The shots billups put up, he also hit at a very good rate. I think he was shooting 3's .400 after the trade. You can take 5 a game if you're going to hit 2 of them.

He also made the offense in Denver and NY, run relatively smoothly. Some adjustment time was needed in NY, but they ran much better with him in, than out.

And he's a real PG. something they don't have.

The knicks aren't getting it done on EITHER end. At least with billups they were getting it done on Offense.

He has a hard time creating his own shot off the dribble, and can't hit the spot up jumper with consistency. Tony Douglas has to be the worst starting PG in the league. He can't see the floor, jacks up too many 3's, can't run the pick and roll, and is just a bad defender for someone who's been lauded for his defense. *looks at bench* *face palms* Who the fuck on this bench other than Shumpert contributes?
