Guys, I had a pretty good laugh when New York gave up all that talent for Carmelo and I told everybody it wouldn't work out. I was then laughed at for making such a crazy claim, most by Knicks' fans.

Exactly, that's what a somewhat competent basketball team does, which makes it very difficult for them to have one of the five worst records in the league this year.

Regression to the mean with bargs is coming. Don't worry. Maybe Toronto isn't top 5 worst team, but I don't know what's so special about that regarding Bargs.

It wasn't that bad. The pieces they gave up were overrated and Melo's a great player. The problem was pairing him with Amare and letting D'Antoni coach him up.

Melo isn't that great. You overrate him. IMO.

Knicks are just too soft. Gave up 118 tonight because they're a soft defensive team. They need a guy like Anthony Mason giving them 22-25 mins per game of toughness. Right now nobody is scared of that team.

Looking back, those were some very good Denver teams built around Melo.

Knicks team is full of crap players led by a crap coach. The Spurs defensive decline is almost 100% related to Duncan's decline. Dude is still our anchor on defense, he just isn't what he use to be. But Pop still tears players a new asshole if they aren't trying on D. That Spurs team we had last year had no business winning 60 games, but Pop coached them up. No way are the Knicks going anywhere with 'Antoni coaching them

He probably has what I have. I'm having ankle surgery on Tuesday to finally rebuild my ankle so I can stop spraining it every few months. They also found a bunch of bone fragments and torn off cartilage that they'll be cleaning up. I'll be out of commission until May, but supposedly my bad ankle will finally be as strong as my strong one.
