Arrnett to MSU.
Good news. We need more a experienced WR with Cunningham and Nichol leaving this year.
Arrnett to MSU.
I don't think Colorado got involved in hookers.
Rape. Date rape. Yeah. Hookers, no.
A preliminary audit released in May also found that two athletic department employees used university cell phones to call escort and dating services, and that football coaches used $1,465 in university money to have beer delivered to their hotel rooms during some away games from 1999 through 2003.
A criminal investigation of the scandal resulted in a single indictment against a former football recruiting aide, who is charged with misdemeanor solicitation and two felonies: embezzlement of public property and theft, both related to allegations he used a school cell phone to call a dating chat line and an escort service.
The aide, Nathan Maxcey, has said he used a university cell phone to call an escort service but that the calls were to arrange liaisons only for himself.

So this happened?
Yeah, Clemson was Doomed by the Hands of Fate.
I last checked the score when there was like 12 minutes left in the 2nd. Looked before bed time and laughed my ass off. LOVE IT!
DIAF, Clemson.
I'd be much more interested in the MNC game if it was LSU and Oklahoma State.
Oh and it appears Dwayne Allen doesn't need NFL money because he has all the money he needs at Clemson....Wait what?

It's actually pretty cheap to live in Clemson.
Hopefully he means that the Scholly helps keep food in his belly and a stable roof over his head, and he's ok with that.
Dan Wetzel knows where to go next.
I really don't think our athletic department is in a financial position to be paying kids under the table. And if our fans can't be bothered to fill a BCS bowl game, I doubt they're helping out either. If we were paying players we would've got Clowney. Unless South Carolina is paying more.
I honestly believe this could be one of the lower rated champ games.
If LSU wins I'll be even more mad that we didn't get our shot. If Bama wins it proves nothing. Plus, the game is likely to be another boring slugfest and I don't want to see either coach win.
Bowl season ends with the Cotton Bowl for me.
I have a feeling if Bama wins, you'll be just as mad. There's no way you'll come away from this game with content since you're harboring resentment for both teams.
Alshon Jeffrey to the NFL.
Confirmed?
Hope you didn't see the final.Great sketch comedy show.
I woke up from a nap and the score was close, then I went to the gym and it was like 63 - 20. Lol ACC.
My god, Oregon's OOC schedule is an absolute joke for 2012
I think it's just Bama, nobody can really say LSU doesn't deserve to be there (well, after Georgia...), he (and others) will just be pissed at Bama one way or the other. And I think it was implied in his post.
Or rather, pissed at the people who put them in this position in the first place?

I don't dislike anyone involved except Saban--I just don't think Bama deserves to be in the MNCG. If they manage to beat LSU in NOLA it's a great win, but to me LSU still deserves to be called national champion no matter what that stupid Dr. Pepper trophy says.
LSU has shown their quality all season against superior competition, and it's unfair for them to have to play a team they already beat once on the road.
Are you talking to Gondo, or to every college football fan everywhere? There's no way you'll come away from this game with content...
Ahh, so what you're saying, is that we should all go back to naming the national champion before the bowl games!

You're not alone in that. A lot of journalists have mentioned that they think LSU deserves the MNC title regardless of if they win the game or not.
It'd be hilarious if LSU barely lost, and their fans suddenly had to be in favor of split titles and the AP Poll. "No, really, the AP is the only one that really matters!"
Preliminaries are in, last night's Orange Bowl pulled a 4.5, worst BCS rating ever.
This is exactly what I saw of the game:
Dabo saying "we hope America comes away with this game, that the Clemson Defense did well"
And
WVU player being interviewed on the winners podium after the game.
I played Saints Row 3 in between all of this.
Well the game was over by halftime. The Clemson section forgot to come back after halftime too. Blowouts are not rating/viewer friendly.Preliminaries are in, last night's Orange Bowl pulled a 4.5, worst BCS rating ever.

Thing is, If Alabama won in OT 9-6, we would be in a nearly identical situation. #1 Bama v. #2. LSU. I can promise you that. That's why the media was predicting a rematch before Nov. 5th even happened.
They have 7 home games next year. SEVEN. That's positively SEC-esque. They don't even play a road game until the last weekend in September.
The only thing I can see working against them is that 2 of their final 6 games are at home. But then those 4 road games are USC, ASU, OSU, and Cal so its not exactly a gauntlet. Well that and the fact they won't be winning any SoS contests.
You would be correct.I would argue Alabama had a crappier schedule then LSU.
Yeah, I'm not sure just seven is enough to qualify as SEC-esque.Michigan had eight home games this year and didn't even play Wisconsin.

That's not even an argument, that's a fact.
Only *slightly*.I would argue Alabama had a crappier schedule then LSU.
Only *slightly*.
When was the last time Florida left the state for an OOC game?
Michigan had eight home games this year and didn't even play Wisconsin.
1991. They went up to NY for their first out of state OOC in a decade, got beat down by Syracuse, and decided they'd never do that again.
Yeah, but this has been going on for years at the Orange Bowl.
Only 7 BCS bowls have had a 7.0 or less rating, 5 of them have been Orange Bowls, all of those have been since 2006. They need to get out of this ACC deal, or pray that FSU gets good again.
Oh hey, Zona has 8 home games next year. WTF dudes.
Cal might have the toughest schedule in the conference, even with Southern Utah on it. We miss what might be the two worst teams in the conference, Colorado and Arizona, we've got an OOC in the Horseshoe, and we don't have a bye week. Yikes.
