Unfortunately if the Steelers do beat the Pats, I don't think you can really call it a upset. Pats have been less then solid in the playoffs the last 2 years plus the Steelers already beat them this season.

I think more needs to be made of the fact that the Patriots have only been playing 2 quarters in their recent games againt the Dolphins and Bills. On the other hand, half of a game's performance managed to get the Steelers to the Super Bowl.

A week-long ban is fine, but one month for that? Just seemed unnecessary at the time when you consider some of the shit other people post and get away with. But I let it go a long time ago and realized that some mods are just going to give out those kind of bans sometimes.

Yeah I was wondering if a month is the standard ban or something. I didn't realize they even had week long bans. I guess when your message board has tens of thousands of members, you have to cull the herd a bit to send a message.

Oh and I never post on gaming side because I've seen people get away with murder and others seemingly banned for perhaps minor things. I'm guessing consistency is an issue with all these different mods. I'm just glad that most of us enjoy relative immunity while posting in this thread.

Mods should be required to link to the EXACT rule in the TOS that you broke in their ban messages, 'cause some of these bans are just objectively bullshit.
Though mods being inconsistent is pretty much the case on most forums.
On one I post at (a Bucs forum) certain users get away with attacking other users, harassing them from thread to thread and just generally being an asshole.
And they never get banned.
