Goddamn.
I'd love to spend a week-long weekend in Rio de Janeiro.

Bruital that was such a good game too. I Think I lost Ninja Gaiden for the NES.One guy claimed he lost my copy of Smash Brothers for N64 when I lent it to him. I figured he was lying, but part of me wanted to believe him. :|
haha.Man, I've still got some Spectrum games I borrowed off a friend back in 1990...
Dammit I always hated the kids that never gave back the games I lent them. Life long grudge right there.
Ah thank you. You've done all my creeping work for me.
I may share this information with Devo.

Yep. Just another example of one of those words that has a different meaning in British and American English.
I was born in San Diego, but I lay no claim to it. There is no home.![]()

I cant really claim Rio either... its simply where I was born. My father was Navy and we moved when I was 18 months old, so I know nothing of the place. I have lived a lot of fascinating places though... complete polar opposite to where I live now which is static and boring.
Such a beautiful city though.
Well, the information is 20 years out of date so you may want to put a disclaimer in my file.
As long as we're posting places we at one point lived, this was behind our apartment building in Yokohama.

Cool stuff. I lived in Yokosuka, JP shortly after my stint in Rio.
Fortunately we moved to Kailua Beach, Oahu before my sixth birthday. My house was a five minute walk from this:

why do you call them jumpers when they don't do any jumping?!?!
I was an asshole kid. A small video rental place started renting Nintendo carts a long time ago. I found a security socket that would release the star screws on the back of the cases. I would rent a game, open it up, switch out the boards with a game I didn't want and then return it, saying it didn't work.

I really miss seeing kids play outdoors. Sometimes i go to my sisters neighborhood and see a few and it makes me feel good.
As a kid I was either in my backyard impaling rollie pollies or running around the neighborhood with the older kids causing havoc.
Saddens me to see so many kids addicted to the internet and videogames and being indoors all day. that's for old bitter people like me!
oh and I was born in a great hospital but lived in south central and watts a lot of my youth. Didn't get out of the gang infested areas till my late teens.
@ H-Pro Why haven't you gone back. It's not very far at all. Downtown is really cool to hang out at for a day.
Thats not real. Tell me thats a level for Super Mario Bros WiiU.
