After WoW, I vowed never to play a MMO again. I've heard good things, but too much of a time sink considering my giant backlog of games. Especially now that I have (easily)modded my PSP.
I'm a bounty hunter, no light saber. Honestly, it's just a fucking dope RPG right now. I'm playing mostly solo and it's a blast.
For like $500 you could have a PC that would run this. I bet FMT would pay you that much for a single pee party.

Bounty Hunters are the best thing in TOR, have a mercenary myself, tried a few other classes and Bounty Hunter is way more fun than any of them.
Is it weird that I completely despise Bounty Hunters even though I'm the mirror of them Trooper/Commando?

I'm loving it. The story is actually engaging. At one point after fighting a very epic battle with a Sith Lord, I was able to convince him to join the Jedi because the guy was actually honorable and was completely mistaken about the nature and character of the Jedi because he was a pureblooded Sith. I'm was actually choked up by the end of it. WoW has never, ever done that.
It's a step above Lucas Star Wars but most of the stuff written isn't on par necessarily with the absolute best that Star Wars has to offer but some of it definitely is. There's also a shocking lack of people playing a lightsaber based class. I probably see more troopers than either Jedi Knights or Jedi Consulars alone. Combined, yes Jedi make up probably 50-60% of the player base.
