Time for work again.
I woke up a little over an hour ago and now I have work. See, this is why I can't watch anime. there is just no time.

Daily Lives of High School Boys is also a TV Tokyo show and I would have expected Crunchyroll to announce that by now. Since it's the show I'm most looking forward to this season, I'll be disappointed if they don't get it.
I'll be Suprised if Crunchyroll doesn't picks up Daily Lives as that seems right up their alley.
Yeah, given that they already have Gintama, and it's the same station/studio/style of humor. Didn't consider that.

I would post except most of the examples I'm thinking of are against the ToS and possibly even illegal in the U.S.

Sailor Moon 26

Decent episode overall, this whole current arc honestly feels pretty weak. Hoping they don’t spend 7 episodes on it.

One thing you have noticed is that, for the most part, Sailor Moon gets better and better as it goes along. Apart from that one part.
I hear rumors of a 3rd spacial dimension but I couldn't give you anything solid.

That sounds disgusting.

Kagura - Azumanga Daioh

Shit I have no free time and even I watched osme of CCS.
But like I posted before if you want the full series (legally) you have to shell out between 500-900 bucks. Its one hell of a barrier to entry.

The anime really isn't the best way to experience the series. Unfortunately, there was no best way to do so, unless they had like 48+ episodes to work with or something. They made a decision as to how to handle it, and I understand why they made the decision that they did, but there was really no easy answer.

This is really the key issue, of course. The director was given 11 episodes to adapt the whole manga. He made his choice to adapt this one segment and, as someone who hasn't read the original work, it seemed pretty good to me. It was clear that there was stuff that had happened before the show began, but it never interfered with my enjoyment of the work as a whole. However, it was a bit confusing at first.

Hey Anime-GAF,

I just watched the Eden of the East television series. Enjoyed it a lot. Next step is the two movies, but I recall reading a while back that they weren't very good. What do you guys think? Worth watching for the closure, or should I just skip them?

It's your choice really but I'd say just leave it where it is. The TV series, with it's faux climax is probably a better place to stop.

I hear so many great things about Wandering Son. I really need to check it out. The problem is my attention is drawn to cuter shows, regardless of quality. I am trying to break this habit.

Sailor Moon 28

That no good harlot. Cheating on Tuxedo Mask. But Mamoru really is such a cold-hearted jerk, I can’t believe he’d say that to a woman.

If you've ever met a Usagi in real life you'd understand why he'd say that. It's pretty understandable.
Gintama 235

Oh yeah, this is from the studio that animates Gundam. I'm glad they brought Ray Amuro's original voice actor into this; it helps greatly with the parody. It's a sign of how much I've been able to absorb by osmosis from anime fandom that I'm able to say that, as well as get several of the other gags, without having seen any of the original Gundam series.

Sunrise are certainly a strange studio. Gundam and Gintama.

But Wandering Son is really high tier cute.

Takako Shimura is a master of cute.

I still dont understand why nobody licensed Dennou coil or Mahoraba Heartful Days.
Certain license snubs are very perplexing.

Dennou Coil got a sub-only release in Australia. There's also an iOS app (Cyber Coil) that sells the series as individual subbed episodes (though not cheaply IIRC)...

I don't know man, there's some pretty cute characters in Wandering Son.

As everyone else has said, there's plenty of cuteness to go around in Wandering Son. You shouldn't have a problem.

Are we going to have a season where literally everything is streaming?
Notable unlicensed shows so far:
- Milky Holmes 2
- Kill Me Baby
- Amagami SS+
- High School DxD
- Symphogear
- Aquarion Evol
- Daily Lives
- Papa no whatever
- BRS

The last slot on CR's schedule is likely to either go to the already Sentai-licensed Inu x Boku, or maybe a late announce of Milky Holmes (since they did the first season).

I guess that answers my question.

Btw, Anna is the best character in Wandering Son.

FACT.

I guess that answers my question.
For what it's worth, last season, the only big-name shows not either simul- or latecast were Penguindrum, Bakuman 2, Ben-To, and Tamayura.

Granted, some of the latecasts were really late -- for example, CR is still catching up with iM@S.

Zegapain - 4

I was starting to like the main character, and he went full retard right at the end. Oh well.

This show is turning out to be better than I expected.

If you live in North America anyway. I'm glad that Nisemono is streaming into Blighty and all, but it's shaping up to be another one of those seasons where most the other stuff I'd actually want to watch on Crunchy I won't actually be able to.

Gintama 60-74

That's right, I'm still watching this show dammit. There's just not much to say, especially if you're marathoning an arc.

Ben-To seems a bit strange, 'dumb fun shows where people hit each other' seem to be pretty popular. I can't imagine it would be hard to licence for streaming.

This is also true. I apologize for my sometimes U.S.-centric view of anime licensing.

Jexhius, I am disappointed in you.

We are all disappointed.

(Except Infinite Justice but he has no taste)

Hey, it's not like I had anime on TV when I was growing up. I only started watching anime four years ago and I try to avoid the long shows.
