I guess I decided what I going to watch this season:

Will follow weekly (Will help me on my gaming backlog if all of them suck, hopefully):
Nisemonogatari (I liked the prequel)
Bodacious Space Pirates (Remind me enough of Nadesico)
Accel World (I read 5 of volume of the light novel, the story is awesome enough... only down side is the harem, but the writing is amazing enough. Huh? what do you mean it is not this season? It will be when my time machine arrive from Ebay)

Depend on Gaffer feedback: (not from the one that hate K-On, they have 0 taste):
Senki Zessho Symphogear (Err yeah, sure whatever)
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED HD Remaster (Damn marketing trick to sell gundam seed model to newer generation)
Lagrange -The Flower of Rin-ne (Could be great if they capture the good part of madoka)

Will watch only for the music:
Aquarion EVOL (The original Aquarion music is awesome, the plot also reminded me why I love power ranger when I was young.)

Will Most likely Never watch:
Everything else this season, will Japanese ever find out how much easier it is just to watch porn instead?

Fate/Zero 8:
A good, action packed episode with some nice moments. Kayneth really likes the sound of his own voice, doesn't he?
That scene of him lying in a pool of blood was brutal, but he brought it on himself by not taking Kiritsugu seriously.
Irisviel showed off some awesome stuff this time around, too. Kirei continues to really fascinate me, and I'm loving that he's getting more play. I hope to find out more about him soon.

This is how i feel right now.
Like a sad pathetic little cat in a box.

Symphogear - 01

O...kay? o_O

So it's Madoka with Idol despair replacing magiical girl despair meets The World Ends With You and what was that at the end? FLCL!? O_o

I think I need more eps for this one because I really don't know what to make of it.

There was definately something wrong with the scene where the girl was crying over the grave because I couldn't stop laughing and I don't know why.

Yeah Kirei is super powerful and awesome even in the original Fate/Stay Night visual novel (in Sakura Arc), the game never explain why he was so badass though. I am glad he is finally someone in the front line instead of just some boring behind the scene mastermind.

Is this dance even physically possible? I mean they did a triangle jump up and face land first, this got to be a scrim to decrease the Japanese Otaku population... I mean most average human being will die attempting this dance.

I would so want to go to a Zwei Wing concert that was an epic first few minutes of song. The anime has such awesome music and such a great style, especially when it displays the attack names. I thought Kanade was more epic than Tsubasa but wow in the second half, I cant even decide anymore. I think its my favorite anime of the season. If they can continue to minimize on the school life aspects and continue to deliver great music (want the OST now, every song good and background instrumental track) then I will be glad.

I like how the ED just had credits and music and was still pretty awesome, the song.

Usagi Drop 4:
That was probably the strongest episode since the first one. I felt like it was very consistent and managed to juggle quite a few different elements. The cuteness was there, as was dealing with Daikichi's issues and Rin juggling some mature stuff for her age. This show is just so enjoyable to watch, and it really touches on some interesting subjects that anime tends to avoid.

Shit, this almost makes me regret being forever alone.

woah, I was not the only one who had the feeling that Agiri is like a high-school ninja version of Chizuru.

and the voice of her, incredible!

Sailor Moon 31

Episodes starts off in an extremely entertaining and hilarious fashion. An incredibly well done scene where Luna is running for her life from a pack of cats.
Then she gets trapped and Tuxedo Cat comes to the rescue with his own music.
.

I lost it when the little girl screams RHETT BUTLER. Gone with the Wind in my Sailor Moon (and more than one reference)? Amazing. Transition from the light hearted scenes to the serious business stuff was great as well.

This entire scene was fantastic. Genuinely funny stuff. The second chase scene of the episode was totally unexpected but hilarious as well.

This episode had it all. Extremely charming, well made, entertaining and gave most of the screen time to a character who has barely had any yet, all while at the same time setting up the conclusion for the arc. Definitely the best episode of the arc and my favorite since 25. This is Ikuhara at his best.

The Knight in the Area 1

It's OK so far. The production values are generally solid, although the direction has a few awkward moments and the music is not very good. The childhood friend is too idealized for my tastes; the sound effects in her introduction were over-the-top. I enjoyed most the soccer practice at night with its nice-looking animation (
the alien mask is a bit ridiculous, but I'll accept it for now
) and the peeks behind Kakeru's facade. The characters in general don't stand out to me immediately, but there's potential for good relationship drama down the line. I'll give this a few more episodes to hook me.

I predict Suguru ends up in a coma or a wheelchair.

you can adopt a daughter man

I can barely even take care of myself. I don't think I could handle that kind of responsibility.

Seven's introduction comes across as kind of idealized, I guess, but she's actually a pretty good character, it just isn't obvious right from the start. She grew on me pretty quickly in the manga, though. The big hook for the series should come within the next couple of episodes (depending on how fast they adapt certain things).

what is this. it looks interesting from the pic, is it a move?

Cencoroll, does it have something to with that other show called dencoly whatever it's the one with girls with goggles.

Yeah cencoroll, it's a fun watch due to the art and animation. And as far as I know it stands alone, though a sequel is rumored to be in the making.

Since Winter seems to be a rather barren wasteland, I'm digging into a collection of anime that I've read the manga for, but actually haven't watched. For this round, we have:

Card Captor Sakura 1 - 3

Before anything else, I need to say that Sakura is so :cajun that my heart might give out from it. I do not ever remember her being this diabetes inducing in the manga.

The one other thing that I've noticed is that in this world, teachers sleep in late and aquariums apparently do not give a damn about potentially dangerous exhibits. If you're not going to close down the place, then might as well turn the flooded room into a paid kiddy pool.

I'm alternating between reading too much into an anime and clutching my heart every time Sakura says something. I must be online far too often.

Know what would calm you down?

Some Card Captor Sakura.

Imagine a job where the phone rings for teelve hours straight wth two minutes of silence being a godsend.
Thats what is going on at work tonight.
Its fucking crazy and sometimes my whole week at work is like that.
The sandwich i made is going stale because i havent had time time to eat.

The Knight in the Area 01: There was nothing particularly outstanding about this opener, but I can't deny it exuded a lot of "genkiness". It was fun and not too serious, and hopefully it keeps on entertaining in following episodes. There are some things to notice nevertheless:

-No CGI crowds, instantly putting it on a higher tier than Giant Killing.
-A Japan vs Brazil match, which is actually realistic. Captain Tsubasa tried to sell a game of South America (wearing Brazil's colours) vs Japan, which was a ridiculous concept in an already ridiculous football animu.
-Nana is adorable. The romance drama potential is huuuuuuge.
-Hell yeah global settings. These fuckers better reach the muthafukkin World Cup.

A solid 4 out of 5. Chihayafuru's pilot was stronger, but it also tried to sell the human drama a lot more. This show is all about FACTOR HUEVO, it seems!

Ben-To 03: Too much talk, not enough brawling. The premise is ridiculous and I am glad they are playing it straight, but Satou is honestly not that likable a character to convince at this point that his conundrum regarding half-priced lunches is drama-inducing.

Hanasaku Iroha 15:
Man, Ohana really is a workaholic. It's called vacation, girl. The episode kind of played out in a predictable way, but it was still pretty enjoyable. The character interactions kept what could have been fairly standard at a high level.

Hey, it's not like I had anime on TV when I was growing up. I only started watching anime four years ago and I try to avoid the long shows.

This is actually mind-blowing, considering you are arguably the most knowledgeable animu connoisseur in this clique.

Hey regulus.

DON'T LOSE YOUR HEAD OVER IT.

Hurr durr.

Come to think of it, it was Jex that convinced me to watch LOGH.

"I try to avoid the long shows" indeed good sir.

Steins;gate 21

So there's one thing I'm a bit unclear about.
Wasn't the only reason Okabe kept undoing D-mails to get back the IBN 5100? Shouldn't erasing themselves from SERN's database prevent Mayuri from dying? So why does he have to erase more D-mails to get back to the world line where Makise dies? Or is it a fate thing?

Ive been following anime about 20 years but jex definitely has better insight into this stuff.
I am morr concerned with being entertained by it without really thinking too much about it.

I had been watching anime on and off for a long time (Salior Moon, Ranma, DBZ, and the like when I was a kid) but didn't really start watching till maybe 2 or 3 years ago.
