Cena needs to be on TV more often. We've rarely seen that guy
Yeah man, he wasn't even on the last PPV WTF.

Right you are, I had them mixed up. It was Stone Cold who put over that young go-getter Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.
Either way, on their way out neither The Rock or Stone Cold were used to put over young stars who should have gone on to form the backbone of the company for years to come. In fact, WWE rarely uses established stars to put over young talent, even when they're leaving. With a bit of creative thought, they could have used Batista's departure to put over someone new, instead of putting over Cena. In fact, I can't readily recall a major WWE departure that has put over deserving talent on their way out in recent years, other than Jeff Hardy.

The Rock put over Lesnar
Meh, guys never win their last matches anyway. Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold...even Ric Flair.
well, ric flair lol
And how'd that work out? The guy left the industry less than two years later.
I just think that if you're going to have veterans in the product then they should be there to help put over the younger talent that will go on to serve the promotion well in the long-term, not some guy who was going to be booked to the top regardless and who had no real love for wrestling and no interest in sticking around.

Because The Rock knew Brock would quit wrestling in 2 years when he was putting him over? Using The Rock as your soapbox for this is pretty misguided. Use people who actually help your argument, like Triple H and Undertaker. Undertaker hasn't put over a young guy since his Jeff Hardy Ladder Match 10 years ago.

HHH put that skinny fat ass over.

You said they( SC & The Rock) never put anyone over on their way out, & The Rock clearly did
No, I said that on their way out they never put over anyone deserving in my eyes. Sure, Lesnar would have counted if he'd stuck around, but he didn't and in hindsight it would have been better, imo, to use The Rock's final appearance to put over someone more likely to still be working today, who in turn could help put over some new stars.
It's just wasteful, like Bastita putting over Cena on his way out.

The more I think about it the worse it gets.
I mean Summer of Punk was crazy, Money in the Bank was the best PPV in forever, people were hyped, people OUTSIDE wrestling were hyped to see where everything went...
And here comes Triple H, LITERALLY THE NEXT NIGHT, to make the storyline all about him.
THE NEXT NIGHT.
THE NEXT. NIGHT.

Punk got ESPN to talk about the WWE, and it wasn't for an obituary.

Was Triple H still pissed that Punk got more chants at Survivor Series 2006?
Y2Kev said:But, as DM says before, this doesn't make any sense. Lesnar became a megastar and the Rock helped that by putting him over. It was hardly wasteful. How was Lesnar, at the time, not deserving?
Cerebral Assassin[/quote said:So if Lesnar put someone over on his way out you would have had no problem with The Rock?
Watching SD, love how they bill Hornswoggle from Dublin, Ireland, while giving him the ability to speak...in a straight American accent. Meanwhile Sheamus talks in as Dublin an accent as you can get, fella.
Do you know how many video promos were going to get the year Triple H is inducted into the HOF? Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Was it Bring Your Daughter To Work Day?

I have a question.
Why is HHH currently not getting pushed? Did he piss of someone backstage to cut his push short? It really seemed like he was ready for the bigtime.

I miss RAW ending with his theme playing :<
No, it starts with his theme. Cena's ends it.
Unless it was 2003. Then it starts and ends with his theme.
Also it played in the middle too.
Watch the documentary first.4:00 am here's pst. Going to bed finally. GF won't be over tomorrow night, so I can settle in and watch the SCSA Blu ray finally. Any awesome matches on the Blu ray I should watch?
