Yeah I don't usually drink unless my friends come into town. So I don't really ever build up a tolerance and get pretty plastered every time since it's usually months between visits.

I'm the type to drink something relatively light when by myself like beer. Harder stuff comes when I'm out.
I posted tipsy here a few days ago. More tired than drunk though. Haven't been plastered in a long while.
Yeah, I'm just not that into it. I hate the feeling after a night of even light drinking. But I'll drink socially and won't say no if offered.

Same here. I would probably drink more often if it weren't for all the excess calories.

I've contemplated buying drinks for myself sometimes when I go shopping but my lack of knowledge in alcohol usually dissuades me. No idea what to get when I hit the party isle.
Never been able to get into whiskey, and I've tried. Just beer or wine for me.

Some things taste good, but not good enough for the feeling it gives me after.
I think I have a more difficult time not drinking milk, and that can have even more dire consequences...

Rum doesn't really do it for me and tequila... *shudder* I had a bad game of tequila monopoly back in 2001 and I've never gotten over it.

Not super into it, but if I'm reading a detective novel I find it enhances my enjoyment of the book.
Why don't you drink?
I never get smashed (I, too, hate that feeling), but delight in the various options. I drink often, but not much.
Geikkikan (a kind of wedding sake) is great for making atsukan (hot sake) and even just as is, it's ok. It's the cheap option. Nigori is sweeter and good for dessert/certain foods. If I can remember any more specific brands, I'll let you know.
Sometimes it's not even really a hangover. Just a weird feeling.
Also, I find I just can't drink alone. Unfortunately all of my friends either live too far away now or are too busy with work to do more than hang out for a bit of gaming. My boyfriend doesn't drink at all (except ONCE when he was with his family and he had some whiskey. That was an odd time. I didn't drink at all since I didn't want to get too silly. I get really reaaaally silly when I drink.)

I have to admit, as much as I'm loving MH Tri, it is so much easier than other installments. All i've done is upgrade my great sword as much as I can afford to and make over 100 mega potions. I've not even thought about armour and I've not used a single mega potion yet.
Edit: To the post above me. Thats pretty much how I imagine every fast food joint in general. Not sure if pizza hut is considered 'fast food', but fuck it you know what I mean.

Well from what I've tried I like Irish car bombs?, pinapple flavored stuff, whiskey, and generally anything fruity. Haven't tried much in the way of beer since all of the ones I've tried taste horrible to me.
After being turned onto Shiner Boch, doesnt taste bad as far as beer goes.

I tried Skyrim at a buddy's house. The combat feels pretty much the same, which is upsetting.
To be fair to skyrim I've never encountered a game that really gave off a sense of 'life.'
Couldn't stand oblivion, but skyrim had been a lot of fun.
Great game...I wouldn't reward Bethesda by buying on PS3.
My friend got the PS3 version of Skyrim today despite all my council, the hype got to him. He's enjoying it...but for how long?
