Yeah btw, what do you think is going to happen with Disney and their future animated movies? Was Tangled a one hit wonder or are they going to continue on that track?
I loved Tangled but it very obviously was not a Pixar film, and that isn't a bad thing. It was just, different, which is good, but i'm wondering if it's going to start I rivalry (esp. after Cars 2 melted my soul).

Disney is making Wreck-It Ralph for this November and Frozen (formerly The Ice Queen) for November 2013. Wreck-It is from the creative director of most pre-cancellation Futurama episodes. Frozen we don't know much about but is probably in line with Tangled.

I'm just studying New Media but the ex was doing Visual Development for Film, so I got to tour the place a couple times. When his instructor couldn't teach a class, he made up for it by taking students through Pixar. I got to see some of the 3d animator spaces, some of them have treehouse like cubicles or those special bunk bed arrangements with the computer underneath and the bed on top. Was pretty cool. Got to see some of the original art and sculptures.

Fair. I can see how it wouldn't resonate with some people and how the main plot (and the diversion the main plot kind of takes) could be boring or bad.

Yeah, I never saw Up either. The trailers made it seem kinda dumb, which is a disturbing trend I have noticed.

It was in one of the first versions of the collage. I don't think I made it into the rotating gif with all the avatars, but I am very tired right now so I could've easily missed it.

I'm not sure what a New Media major would entail exactly but sounds cool! And damn, that's quite the experience. Working at one of those studies must be incredibly difficult but I'll be damned if they don't make it look awesome!
Anyways, I'm RP-GAF it's been real but I gotta get on a plane in a few hours. Wish me luck that I don't sit next to smelly person or end up dying a horrific death.

Good luck. Plane travel can be a real gamble in terms of comfort.
Sometimes I end up with a row to myself and free movies and sometimes I end up being between a baby and a german pugilist and both are fussy (THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED.)

I'd like to think of this thread as a large family in a cabin, some bring food, others warming blankets, others jokes. I may have only brought in a nice framed picture, but some of the family will enjoy it regardless.
