Perhaps Giants in 86 as well, I don't think that offense is remembered as great though, but I think it was plenty to be feared. Certainly a better compliment to the defense than the Bears had in the previous year.

I can't believe that we at one point had Roaf, Jones, Orlando Pace, and Jonathan Ogden all playing tackle at the same time in this league. These are all time great tackles. I don't think we have any kind of tackles on their level in the game today.

Joe Thomas, Jake Long, and at least a couple years ago, Ryan Clady. Those guys are probably the closest men to the level we had several years ago.

Isn't that true for every lineman? He's been solid but very little credit is given to Franklin. The guy is a rookie, and after some initial mistakes, has really become a force on the line. Overall the big fellas never get enough credit, but they have done an outstanding job. Kuper was a big loss as well.
