In 10 years we'll all have the same answer to that question.
Josh Freeman.

Manning, I think he's probably up there. Brady*, come one mang.

Matt Flynn.
I forgot what game it was last year, but remember him complaining because they got to the stadium too early and it apparently threw him off? That was laughable but he is such a different player right now. Before anything (and I want to say - now that he's passed the whole "at the end of the day" thing, he's got a "first and foremost" thing going) he constantly praises Coughlin and Fewell for getting the team ready and providing a really good game plan. That is a far cry from what we as fans think from game to game. Glad to hear it from Antrel.
He has really turned around my opinion on him.
He made crucial errors in tight playoff games like the young Peyton used to, like throwing deep when just out of field goal range rather than trying to setup a sure score, not managing the clock well, etc. Marino was a very unimpressive playoff QB in my opinion. He just never grew into what he could have been.
No I didn't leave anyone off.
This list is super fucking sad
I used to think that too but look at his body of work. He doesn't get enough credit. Ignorant people drop the Belichick bomb when the discussion comes up but Brady really is that good.
He's an excellent QB and has been consistent, but it's hard to feel good about his biggest moments considering what we know....and what we don't know because it was destroyed. It's not ignorant, it's exactly what it is.

Yes, please ignore everything else I said about him.
Suit up, Packers-GAF, we've got a 14th Championship to win.

You're back! Now you can retire that alternate account and stay the fuck away from every other board on GAF.I'm putting this whole goddamn team on my back, do
Teams have historically stolen signals. Teams for the most part always tape the opposing sideline from their own sideline (this is allowed). NE taped it from their opponents sideline (this is not allowed). What difference does that really make?
The only "significant" allegations about NE was STL making a somewhat meek claim that maybe someone from NE's organization was in the stadium while they were doing their walkthrough.
When Parcells, Madden, Steve Young and others all comment on this "controversy" and say it's not really anything significant, than I'm not going to carry a torch for it.
eznark makes better threads anyway.
:jnc Don't have an alt. I like his avatar though. You're back! Now you can retire that alternate account and stay the fuck away from every other board on GAF.
Finley can go screw.edit: and you forgot the Finley avatars - unless they were already taken due to high demand
Manning.
I know there's the natural human tendency to look upon the past as the "good old days", where everything was great and now everything sucks, but that's not true with the NFL. The good old days are right now, and Manning is the best of a bunch of future legends.
The Pats got caught doing it, there were allegations the Broncos were doing it, and now the same weasel is back in Foxboro and probably looking at satellite photos of the Bronco's defense practicing.
Just commenting that I specifically stated he's a great QB that's become better than he was before all of that. So take it as you will.what else did you say? Was there another post? Or was that not directed at me?
My point is that we simply don't know what impact it had. No on can claim it had no impact because we don't know what was on it or how they used it. What we know is that it was bad enough to burn it down and not let anyone see.You really think the taping had that much of an impact?
Wrong. It was much harder to throw against those defenses back in Montana's time. The entire game has been restructured over the past 10 years to encourage a pass-first league.
The defenses 'back in Montana's time' also weren't filled with finely-tuned genetic freaks with an undeniable advantage in fitness, health, and technological resources , so no, I don't agree with that. I think they offset.
....that actually makes sense.
Greatest QBs of all time:

Tony Banks
Stoney Case

Trent Dilfer
Elvis Grbac
Randall Cunningham

Kyle Boller
Anthony Wright
Steve McNair
Troy Smith

those advantages go for both sides of the ball. Anyone who doesn't see the drastic difference in difficulty in passing between the 70's/80's and today is a fool with a worthless opinion.
Packets age is filled beyond capacity now. Fire code dictates one of you will need to leave.
welcome back!
Great fucking news Pats fans. It seems like no one was missing at practice, and today was full pads so Seabass and Mankins should be ready to go on Saturday. Man this is great news@RapSheet
Ian R. Rapoport
From Patriots practice, big news. As in, linemen big. G Logan Mankins and OT Sebastian Vollmer are back. Long time for Vollmer
Welcome back, Bucket. I'll keep my far-superior avatar, but it's the thought that counts.

Manning is fantastic and would probably be #2 or #3 on my list but he's playing in a time that is the easiest ever in the league for QBs.
One for every national title he won at OSU.How many super bowls do we have by now if Troy smiths herpes doesnt flare up right before the season starts??

Defying trends in every other sport or entertainment, pro football is more popular than ever. The hallowed legends that were made in other sports decades ago are being made right now in the NFL. And Manning is clearly the best of that group.
Relax fucker. It's not that serious.
I fear his account's status is tied to the Packers' success in the playoffs. Anything less than another WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP and he'll troll his account into oblivion.Wanna takes bets on how long till he gets banned again?

:jncLikely after your next one!
