Someone needs to take care of him and get him to STOP wrestling. Give the man some sort of royalties, sell something for him, and let him live life and pay off his debts instead of blading at age 60, taking horrible bumps, and hurting himself.

It's not fair to Flair!

He's in no position to pay off debts. He still spends more money than he makes. He's going to be broke when he's dead.

Speaking of Wrestle Kingdom, it seems that altercation between Masakatsu Funaki & Yuji Nagata at the end of their tag match wasn't intended - if you notice, early in the match (@05m41s) Nagata hits a running high knee to Funaki and ended up fracturing a number of bones in his face and after the match Funaki was not best pleased, as he grabs Nagata about the neck on the ring apron and suckers him with a head-butt. The finish looked rough too, as Funaki murders poor Wataru Inoue with a stiff kick to the side of the head; @08m54s. Funaki's out for the rest of AJPW tour this month.

And yeah, awesome to see Nakamura getting some recognition here. He's a fantastic heel and plays his character perfectly. Now after Suzuki failed, I'm hoping Nakamura will be the one to dethrone Tanahashi, as Okada certainly won't and I don't think they're ready to fully pull the trigger on Naito.

If Flair comes back to the WWE, we should all just forget that his time in TNA never happened and he really retired gracefully after that match with Shawn and the big celebration that followed.

Y'know what, I really had a feeling that knee looked overly stiff, and Funaki wasn't just selling. Heh. The confrontation at the end was great too. Now I know why.

This explains a lot, I remember watching it thinking that their friction at the end of the match felt a little too tense to be planned, that or they were just really good. Gotta love a man who's first reaction when annoyed is to head-butt the guy instead of punch him though.

I've heard the theory thrown around that Vince respects the hell out of Flair and Windham is is inducting them to give them a helping hand since there's a paycheck involved

Kurt Angle was on a Sirius XM wrestling show this morning. He says 2011 was a "subpar" year for TNA and openly criticizes the way TNA uses Samoa Joe and AJ Styles.

2011 for TNA: "I think that 2011 was a subpar year, I think We did a lot of things right and a lot of things wrong. The most important thing I would say is the lack of communication within the writing and creative team. When you have a written show and you present that to everybody and then they start changing things and it becomes a watered down version of what the writer wanted in the first place. Now you don’t know which way to go. We do have a lot of chefs in the kitchen. I think that is the hardest part for our company because when Vince Russo is writing the show and you have Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff and a few other people and other TNA writers changing it up the last second which I don’t disagree with what Hogan says, I agree with him 100 percent.

"But we need to regroup earlier, maybe a week earlier and get it done, change it up, make sure we have the right changes so that we can keep going with the story the right way. So I think 2011 was a confusing year, so this is what we are going to capitalize on in 2012. We are not going to make the same mistakes. I think Hulk Hogan will get with to Vince Russo quicker, I think Eric Bischoff will get with Vince Russo quicker. We will get the show written, get it done a week earlier instead the day of the show, and changing it up. It was just very frustrating. Because I’m a little bit of part of everything in TNA and I watch what’s going on and sometimes I get a little frustrated when I see what Vince Russo is trying to do and I see what the outcome is."

Bound For Glory: "We literally had a change in 2011 at Bound For Glory right before the match in the main event. In other words, somebody was supposed to win and it got turned to me winning that night. It worked out for the better, I’m not going to lie to you. So the change was good, but literally we didn’t hear about it until that night and me and Bobby Roode was like What?! I’m winning?! I have a torn hamstring and I can’t even wrestle."

Samoa Joe: "We have not done Joe justice. Whether it had to do with an attitude problem an attitude change. In wrestling you have to play by the rule book. Joe was a little bit of a rebel. I think that might have hurt his cause. I believe Joe is rational. I think we can still make Joe a big star again. I think Joe is a full time main eventer. I think we need to do it now because if we don’t do it now it will never happen."

The next main eventers: "AJ Styles was there for a while. And then we pulled him down which I didn’t agree with. Now we got AJ up there, Jeff Hardy is here, Robert Roode, James Storm. We’re starting to get to a point where these guys are going to start full time and Kurt Angle and Sting can dwindle off and retire. That’s what we need to happen and that’s what’s happening now and I’m glad because I don’t want to leave TNA and leave an open spot there. I cant wrestle forever. As a matter of fact I am already talking retirement. It’s about making guys and putting them in my spot and making sure they are secure there before I leave."

Oh damn @ the reason behind the Funaki-Nagata altercation. I thought it was just storyline.

I hope that Nakamura gets a match with Tanahashi, that would be great.

Raw's first hour did 4.10 million viewers and the second hour did 3.92 million. The show in recent weeks has hovered between 4.4 and 4.5 million viewers, so it's significantly down. Rating was probably in the 2.7 to 2.9 range.

LSU vs. Alabama was the lowest rated BCS title game ever last night also.

According to an ESPN financial analyst, Cena was worth $106 Million in retail value to the WWE in 2010. He is never going heel folks.

You know what we need? More Power Rangers shit.

You laugh now but when John Cena and the funky bunch fight the Eeeeeeeeeeevil Kane and set in battle to defend the work district of downtown Angel Grove. Let's see you laugh then

what the fuck? Trophy ass?

People reacted negatively to me for bringing up PWG earlier. Is it the wrestling part of professional wrestling that people don't like or do they just need their cheesy stories? I am all about laughing at the show and WrestleGAF is one of the only reasons I still watch but It isn't good, It is hardly better than TNA at this point.

About what? I love me some PWG.

Those ratings mean they're taking the belt off Bryan on Smackdown tonight and the belt off Punk at the Rumble.

Raw has not been built around Punk for weeks, he may be the champ, but they are still pushing Cena and Kane more. Cena, Kane, Ryder (and Eve) were the main story this week.
