Well, it's been summer weather in LA for most of this and last week. I like it.
Considering my brother posted in this thread that sort of charade wouldn't last.
Also people in the thread I post in the most on GAF know who my avatar is so its not exactly a good deception!

Unseasonably warm here too. I almost had to turn on the A/C.
It was a very generic prompt, actually.
I focused mainly on my international experience and the additional perspective I've gained by spending so much time in foreign cultures. I talked about how other countries have been able to solve problems that still plague the U.S., and I also talked about examples of poor policy that I've seen in other countries.

Joss Whedon should not be allowed to write dialogue either. He should just be a story idea guy and let others handle the scripting duties.

Although my friends give me endless crap about it, I'm a big fan of musicals and their ilk (Glee, specifically).
I've only been able to see a few of them live:
-Rent (pretty damn amazing)
-Wicked (in Japanese....it was weird!)
-some Christmasy thing I saw as a kid but can't remember....maybe the Nutcracker?
I was on stage crew in High School for:
-Anything Goes
-Grease
I've seen a bunch of movie-ized musicals that I really liked too:
-Grease
-Hairspray
-West Side Story
-Little Shop of Horrors
-Moulin Rouge

Lost hope more like! I actually didn't really get into the movie until my second viewing. Now I've seen it at least 5 times and it's right up there as one of my favorites.

He's a kid and it's a kids show so I'm not worried about him being a Brony. It was used as a punishment for not listening well.
Hell, if I squashed his liking of MLP it would just be one less thing I could use as incentive.

The only broadway musical I went to see was Rent, and I didn't like it... I was never really into musicals though.
(Except when I was 9, french musical Notre Dame de Paris was a big phenomenon at my school, everyone listened to it and we even learned the lyrics and made re-enactments during recess... That never happened again when it died down)

Fiddler on the Roof is my personal favorite musical. I got to see it a couple years ago during Topol's last tour.
Other favorites include Les Miserables, Man of La Mancha, Hair, and The Rocky Horror Show.
I absolutely hate Rent, though. Every character except that one landlord dude is annoying as fuck. I wouldn't have minded if all of them died.

It's what I like to call Blair Witch Syndrome. When I saw that movie the overwhelming feeling I had in the cinema was that I couldn't stand a single one of the characters, so when the spooky started going down I was actually looking forward to them all being picked off one by one.
