Finally finished Katawa Shoujo, now it is time to finish my Nadia rewatch as well. After that Penguin Drum. Can't help myself but I get quite hyped for Penguin Drum at this point!

But first things first: Nadia is amazing :).

Lilly and Shizune are best girls. You cannot deny.

Majikoi 2

HAREM ROUTE. No screen time for the bros, no real jokes being told, nothing. Just T&A EVERYWHERE. I'm out if the next ep is the same.

At least watch to ep. 6 before you quit, it's the best episode of the show. It's completely stupid, but in a good way... (As for ep. 2, it was okay, and maybe better than ep. 1, but not one of the best episodes, no.)

... Also, it's a harem game adaptation, what exactly were you expecting? Is the game any different? I will agree that the show overall is on the mediocre side, but it has some good bits in it here and there.

KEY characters need to have:

-eyes set as far as possible without giving them the monocular vision of a horse or bird
-eyes taking up the entire length of the upper jaw and lower forehead
-perfectly triangular chins
-jutting and/or peaked hair
-bangs
-straight shiny line across said bangs
-sparkle
-tragic backstory (not pictured)
Don't forgot semi-lethargic eyes minus the black circles

Something for cajunator

Lilly obviously. As for Shizune, I really think her route is the weakest by far.

My waifu rating after completing the game (= my favourite route rating) is:

Lilly >= Rin > Hanako >> Emi >>> Shizune

But lets not clog up the anime thread with KS, I think there is a thread on gaming side for that.

I'm afaid it's all the same, though give it another episode if it will quell your curiosity. :/

I'm giving it another ep or two, yeah.

It's actually different from what I've seen. Very different. But I think I see how the anime starts off now. This seems to start from the 'bad' end of Momoyo's path, which
has him getting turned down on the river, and then adapts the 'true' harem route where every girl in the dorm wants a piece of him; a path I don't believe you can even play until you beat every path;
a path I probably won't even play, if its this silly.

But the majority of the game isn't even about romance, for the most part; it's there, of course, but doesn't even come in till the very end of whichever path. It gets on with some serious stupidity then, but its actually a surprisingly good slice of life/comedy almost all way up to that. like Genshiken, but incredibly crude.

Hanasaku Iroha 18:
Much better than the previous two episodes. It was nice to get into Nako's head and to experience her home life, which explains a lot about her character. I enjoyed seeing the dichotomy between how Nako acts at home versus at work, because it reminds me a lot of myself. There were some great comedy moments when the characters went into town, too. Ohana's reactions to everything Nako said were great. Definitely a strong standalone episode.

The show finishes really strong down the stretch. It's pretty much all uphill from there.

Nako Good.

Minchi Bad.

Nako was a very well done character throughout the series. Given her episodes while they continually laid little development throughout the series. Minchi on the other hand never really broke out of her trope. Everything was painful about her.

Aquarion 3

One thing I like about Apollo is how he just doesn't give a shit about all the cool sci-fi stuff that is being introduced to him and continues to be all feral and junk while trying to save Baron. The dude is all about the nakama.

This also may be a weird comparison, but I'm liking this a lot because it kind of reminds me of early Naruto. I mean we got the guy that isn't being taken seriously at all and the big guys are relying on the more established/"capable" people, yet the main character keeps butting in and blowing people away with how awesome he is while pilots like Reika end up looking useless. Kind of an "underdog" satisfaction.

started one of those figurine collections here but it seems you need to add ones that arent already in the database which is kind of annoying
now they just need a My Games List

I find the fact that you even considered the possibility that romance could show up in Idolmaster charmingly amusing.

I guess with so many waifus all the viewers would rage if producer-san picked only one girl.

Though even with this new found knowledge I continue watching more of the show for whatever reason. Maybe i've gotten attached to it

Brave 10 ep 1

Saizo is pretty epic with those attacks. Isanami is pretty annoying and the Sasuke is cool. I hope future episodes have more action. Seems like they stole the hidden leaf villages substitution jutsu though...

Bleach 355

New ending theme (non spoilery), hilarious filler.

That's good to hear. I'm looking forward to seeing how everything comes together.

Aww, I like Minchi. I agree that she isn't really the most well fleshed out character, but I still find her likable in her own way. I wish she had received an episode like this one, though. Nako does feel like the much richer character to me, but I enjoy Minchi's relationship with Ohana.

How do you guys find so much time to watch anime, anyway? If I didn't have a second monitor and an urge to zone out while playing Zelda I wouldn't watch very much at all.

Only thing I've watched this season is like half of Brave10 and the second or so half of Aquarion.

I still don't get the Tampire thing. I must have missed it at the end of Fall GAF Thread 1 or I guess I wasn't watching Blood-C. Is Saya the Tampire?

I assume you're not familiar with the Idolmaster games?

Minchi actually gets a little genuine development towards the end; it's late, but appreciated.

Hunter x Hunter (2011) 4:
Man, I had forgotten how awesome the early stuff in the Hunter exam was. It's been so long since I either watched the first series or read the manga, so it's really nice to see this stuff all over again. I think this was probably the most consistent episode of the new version yet, and they handled just about every moment well.

Nope, all I know is that they have to do with managing idols.

The anime series does a very good job of hiding the more creepy elements in the games, much to its credit. My long post about the series touches on the anime's desire to be more mainstream and that involves removing creepy wherever it can be found.
