Aww yeah...

Rob Demovsky @RobDemovsky
All players were participating at #Packers practice today. Can't remember the last time that happened.

HoFinley couldn't find a minor sprain? Hard to believe he could pass up the chance to steal the spotlight as the only guy sitting out practice.

Worst lost as a kid, Superbowl 22. I remember being so excited for that only to end up being slaughtered by Washington. I was too little to remember the Giants loss, and was pessimistic going into the SF loss.

As an adult the 2005 AFC Championship against the Steelers was brutal. I think I rage quit that game in the 2nd quarter.

So what is Packers-GAF opinion on Starks and Grant?
I know last year ez really liked BJackson, disliked Starks.

Grant has looked better the last few weeks, Starks seems like he's been hurt for a long time but he's finally healthy. Who would you trust the most on Sunday?

Grant. If I dont see Starks once I won't shed a tear, even if Mastershake does. Grant looks like he's improved a ton, doing things he never did even in his one truly great season (not that he's better overall, just improved some parts of his game).

We'll still need some of Starks' falling forward skills. But Grant has been good the past 3 weeks.

Since they won't be running the ball, the obvious answer is Grant. He is roughly 6 billion times better in pass pro.

I agree. Grant for sure. If Starks comes in and runs violent, like he has been, he'd be good for late in the game. That's if you trust him to protect the ball. I think both have had a fumble or two this year.

Edit:
It's a pretty easy decision with the way Grant has been playing the last few weeks. A different player than he was early in the year.

Is the weather going to screw up the Giants arrival? Supposed to get somewhere around 5 to 10 inches of snow tomorrow into Friday morning stretching from Green Bay all the way south to the Wisconsin/Illinois border. First real snowfall of the season! Not sure when they planned to fly out though!

I have some mental issues where, for a really important game, I can barely stand to watch it. Every bad play is like a dagger to the heart. I often have to turn it off and then catch up on DVR.

My wife is a good "stay til the bitter end" kind of fan, though, so she's helping me improve. She's even making me go to a Packers bar Sunday so I can't hide if things go south.

Aaron Rodgers has the power to control the weather. On his show yesterday he was hoping for cold and snow (but no wind). Rodgers - Flynn - Harrell, the real Holy Trinity

On handling losses: I just went numb after the Falcons loss on Sunday. Just like the Packers loss last year, it got laughable.

In other news, Arthur Blank just had a press conference here locally, and he sounded a little perturbed.

Shit's going down mutherfuckas! We will be back!

Well yeah, even I don't get too upset after my teams get completely and utterly laughed off the field. I mean, when you're flat outclassed in every aspect of the game how can you seriously be mad?

That's how I felt when the Brewers lost to Philly. I mean, we had no shot to win that series so I was like Lions fans, just thrilled to be there.

That was the first real devastating loss I felt I was still in my teens but I remember thinking we were going to pull it off no way the Broncos could lose. Man it sucked. But as long as I never have to watch a Superbowl loss I'll be good. Thank god I wasn't alive during the cowboys/giants/redskins etc etc superbowls.

Fixed.

Haha man you're so screwed. Having to witness a brutal loss in a bar full of packer fans. Good luck sir, good luck.

do any of you have trouble eating during close games?
I get way too nervous to eat and the food gets cold until the game is over or under control.

Asterix only matter when a team wins, like the 2005 White Sox*. Who cares when losers cheat.

Didn't Saine die or something?

My wife usually makes chili or some appetizer stuff for Sundays. Then I dance to shitty zydeco music.

Good points, although I was more than a little annoyed when the Falcons humiliated us at home back in '03.

I'm the opposite, I chew on anything I can find. Food, gum, my nails, etc. You name it, I've had it in my mouth during a football game.

Usually not but damn if my pizza didn't get cold the year the Colts played the Bears in the Super Bowl. Right after kickoff too...

After the second failed 4th and one for the Falcons, I turned off the TV. Got my phone, went for a 5 mile walk, talking to the phone while it was turned off (so I wouldn't get questioned by the police to see if I was a paranoid schizophrenic). The dog gave me funny looks from time to time. Then I took a crap and watched a movie.

So you went #2....

NY Jets players bash Mark Sanchez, say they want Peyton Manning and GM Mike Tannenbaum should trade young quarterback away

The consensus among players who spoke to the Daily News was that, at the very least, the Jets must sign a legitimate veteran backup to push their young quarterback.

“We have to bring in another quarterback that will make him work at practice,” said one player. “He’s lazy and content because he knows he’s not going to be benched.”

On Dec. 28, Sanchez said that he was “light years ahead” in areas such as defensive recognition, clock management and understanding of the offensive system. Six days later, general manager Mike Tannenbaum said that Sanchez’s “rate of growth isn’t where it needs to be.”

This is why the jets implode.
Where the fuck is leadership on that team?
