NFL 2011 Divisional Round |OT| Jesus cast flag merchants, rapists out of His temple

It's going around like wildfire. I heard it on ESPN in my car when I went to get lunch.

And it's essentially the same quotes that were thrown into that LT article the Monday after the season ended. Plus, it's the Daily News. Maybe Manesh is just an incompetent d-bag, but there are at least two easy interview targets for thoughts on Sanchez who have been willing to go on the record in McElroy and LT. Why would they not be interviewed for this story?

Is Eznark Tucker Max?
no, fuck you

If this happens more than 3 times. Broncos will have no trouble winning the game.

If that happens three times, thats 45 yards!

Giants practice report:

Aaron Ross CB (Concussion) - Limited practice. All signed point to him playing
Osi Umenyoira DE (Knee/Ankle) - Limited practice. Usual schedule.
Ahmad Bradshaw RB (Foot/Ankle) - Did not practice. Usual schedule of sitting once/twice a week
Mark Herzlich LB (Ankle) - Did not practice. There's a chance he practices this week though.
DJ Ware RB (Concussion) - Did not practice. Not likely to play.

Stats for this weeks game (Giants heavy as usual):

- The Giants have played 45 postseason games in their history and Manning's 72-yard touchdown pass to Hakeem Nicks was only the second play longer than 70 yards. The other was Scott Brunner's 72-yard pass to Earnest Gray at San Francisco on Jan. 3, 1982. The longest run in Giants' postseason history was Rodney Hampton's 51-yarder vs. Minnesota on Jan. 9, 1994.

- Against the Falcons, Manning completed 71.9 percent of his passes (23-of-32). That increased his career postseason completion percentage to 60.44, which moved him past Kerry Collins (60.0) and into first place on the Giants' list. Manning has completed 136-of-225 postseason passes.

- Manning has 1,574 postseason passing yards and needs 106 to pass Simms' team record of 1,679 ... The franchise's career postseason completions record could also fall Sunday. Manning has 136 and Simms holds the record with 157.

- Against Atlanta, Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 63 yards on 14 carries, a 4.5-yard average. That boosted his career postseason average to a Giants-record 4.37 yards (minimum 50 attempts). Bradshaw has run for 271 yards on 62 postseason carries ... Brandon Jacobs also had 14 attempts - for 92 yards - vs. the Falcons, a 6.57-yard average that was the second-highest in Giants playoff history for a back with at least 10 carries. Joe Morris had a 6.63-yard average (24-159) vs. San Francisco on Jan. 4, 1987.

- The Giants' victory over Atlanta was the first NFL game to end in a 24-2 score since Dec. 24, 1980, when New England defeated Buffalo. It was the first 24-2 score in the 87-year history of the Giants.

- What do JPP, Michael Strahan, and Lawrence Taylor all have in common? They are the only Giants defenders to post 16+ sacks in season.

- For the 1st time in history, the divisional round of the playoffs will feature 4 former Super Bowl MVP quarterbacks -- Eli, Brees, Brady and Rodgers.

- This week the Giants face a fourth Ryan -- old friend Ryan Grant. Grant has one of seven 200-yard rushing games in NFL Playoff Series history (not against the Giants, though).

- Another former friend, S Charlie Peprah is tied for 3rd among Safeties with career-high 5 INTs. He also has the most INT return yards by a safety (147) this season.

- GB has won 13 NFL championships, most all-time. Their .644 postseason winning pct. (29-16) is best in NFL history.

- Head coach Mike McCarthy is 5-2 (.714) in postseason, which is second behind the late, great Lombardi , who went 9-1, (.900).

On handling losses: I just went numb after the Falcons loss on Sunday. Just like the Packers loss last year, it got laughable.

In other news, Arthur Blank just had a press conference here locally, and he sounded a little perturbed.

Shit's going down mutherfuckas! We will be back!

Good is the enemy of great, and we have to become great
That’s Arthur Blank. He’s ready to shake things up.

Nice quote. I may have to buy something from Home Depot now.

"Out of 17 free agents on the Falcons, 8 are their focus in retaining".

Interesting discussion on keeping Roddy White, trade him now while he has value or keep him?

I dont know what they could get for him, but if they think Jones is going to be a #1 Wr they should trade White. That team has a lot of holes they need to fill.

Probably a second round pick going by what Boldin, et al fetched. White did cost us a couple of costly penalties this year and at least two game changing drops.

*Trade away your whole draft for a solid #2 in 2011*

*Trade away #1 in 2012*

Looks like Fisher is Dolphins bound. Expect an announcement soon.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...phins-on-wednesday?module=HP11_headline_stack

Jeff Fisher is close to making a decision on his coaching future, according to sources close to the ex-Titans coach, and it appears he will choose the Miami Dolphins.

Sources have also indicated Fisher isn't interested in a potential relocation and feels more comfortable with the structure in place in Miami than St. Louis.

By the way, I forgot to mention that RB Da'Rel Scott practiced fully today for the Giants. He has been out several weeks with a knee injury. With DJ Ware out with a concussion, look for Scott to get the ball more.

Need a new car and on a lark applied for Ford Motor Credit and got approved.

What's the car going to be used for? Everyday driving/primary use vehicle? Enthusiast purchase? Going hybrid with a Fusion? Gas mileage a concern?

I love me a Mustang but if it's a general use car, I'm a gas mileage type of guy all the way. That may not be the case for you.

Speaking of free agent quarterbacks I wonder how David Garrard is recovering from back surgery. The Jags were finished as soon as he was injured, he would be a good pick up for teams lacking depth and/or talent at QB.

How old are you?

Do you have a wife/kids?

If you're young and not tied down, get the Mustang. If you're married/engaged get the family type car.

I have a 2010 Ford Fusion.
It is an excellent car.
They just unveiled its replacement too, so the current gen ones should go down in price soon.

i could have bought a mustang, but i looked at maintenance and insurance costs and thought no fucking way.
The v6 Fusion is a pretty fun car, especially the sport version.
The roads here would tear up a Sport though, so i opted for just the regular v6.

I believe 0% of the anonymous quotes in that story.

Why?

I believe them, I just don't respect it. If Sanchez is truly slacking off in practice and not working hard, I'd be fine with a respected veteran addressing that in public. But behind the curtain sniping just looks weak to me. I've never gotten the impression Sanchez was a hard worker or a leader.

I remember when Lions fans were moaning about wanting Sanchize instead of Fatford.

I have a wife and two kids. I have driven a 2000 F150 for the past 10 years and I do a lot of commuting weekly for work. Ive just ALWAYS wanted a Mustang since I was 14.

Though the 2012 Taurus is VERY nice especially the Taurus SHO.

Well, as long as you still have another car for your commute.

I have a 2 door Toyota Solara coupe and getting my daughter's carseat into the back is a huge pain in the ass. I desperately need a second car. I was looking at the FJ but that thing is impractical as fuck.
