I just finished watching the press conference. That was fucking crazy. Bandai is definitely banking HEAVILY on Code Geass in 2012 when it comes to the otaku market. I guess they realized that they didn't really have anything else, since Gundam AGE is for the wrong demographic and already tanking. Lol.
I was about to say, it seems like they're banking quite heavily on this myriad arrangement of properties being successful. That seems a little...optimistic. Talk about putting all your eggs in er, a variety of baskets that all have the same name attached to them? That doesn't really work too well as an analogy.
Guity crown ruined code gease for me, watch ep 1 of Cg then watch GC ep1 felt like I watched the same shit(both bad but gc being worse), I had enough of in world where japan has been taken over, a highshool kid meets a mysterious girl who gives him powers for a life time.
Considering how specific that premise is I don't imagine you'll be witnessing that many shows that feature it. I find it pretty hard to get tired of a premise after only two shows share it, but I guess you've been damaged pretty badly by your experiences.

One thing I'll give Guilty Crown credit for, is how they make Shu somehow worse with each passing episode, it takes a certain kind of talent to pull that off.

wandering around in a desolate, uninhabited locale (I know, I'm getting excited just thinking about it!), I thought this looked pretty good and had pretty nice direction aside from the horrible music choice which nearly ruined it. If there was an extra tidbit post-credits, Sky Crawlers-style, someone should tell me because I had to turn it off because my ears couldn't take it. OK, the music wasn't THAT bad, but it did kinda tank my enjoyment and certainly could have been a lot better.
Looking at that Akito PV now and the CG does look rather bad. The fight choreography and stuff certainly looks pretty awesome but all the while I keep thinking how much better it'd look traditionally animated.
