This is too funny. Are you being serious when you write this? Did AB really make people cry?

Anyway, as for GC 12, I just didn't give a fuck the entire time I was asking myself why anything was happening. Was I supposed to feel like all of this made sense? Did I just not pay enough attention to the previous episodes? I don't understand why stories can be so bad! Aren't shows made in groups? Why doesn't someone speak up and stop this kind of thing from happening?

I don't think I have the heart to go on anymore . . . I'll be back when Spring starts.

Dedication has consistently posted positive impressions of Guilty Crown since it started airing. I'm pretty sure he's being honest.

I dropped GC at 7. It's not an interesting enough trainwreck.

Bakemonogatari 02

I enjoyed this more than the first episode. Maybe it's because reading more of the discussion about the show got my expectations aligned better. The direction felt less scattered here, the conversations felt more meaningful, and I liked learning more about Senjougahara.

I'm not smitten with it, but it could be decent enough to see through, as long as the quality remains around this level.

Trapeze 02

This is one of my favorite shows of my new fictional season. The direction is so creative. There's a lot of neurosis packed into everything in the episode, from the way the women around the protagonist act to how his apartment is used as a reminder of his past. It's clever, while still taking enough crazy risks to tickle my love of Japan-themed crazy.

For me, she is not only uber cute, but in particular she just feels... I dunno... genuine. She's not super genki girl, she's not super tsundere girl, she's not super insanely-shy girl, she's... a pleasant girl. Like, the kind of girl I would totally love to hang out with IRL if such a girl existed. She's supportive, but not a doormat. She's forward, but not slutty. She's nice, but not just to Ichika. She'll fight when it's time to fight, but knows when the fight's over. She's not super shy, but not super outgoing. She likes nice things, but isn't high maintenance. She's assertive, but not demanding.

She just strikes the right balance in just about every way for me. :-)

Now I'm waiting for the rest of GAF to describe their perfect waifus.

Rinne no Lagrange 1

It's like a child prodigy had free reign to the crayon box, and I love it. I mean, dat. usage. of. COLOR. It's unabashed:

What did you think about the use of colour on all those girls' asses? Was it similarity unabashed?

(The show looks pretty great in general. The overall level of polish is notable).

I only noticed one ass throughout? lol. And yeah, the showing of it was pretty shameless. I was hoping the show would be the bit classier of fare, but that's always to hope too much, it seems.

It does have a great OP too though. Reminds me a lot of E7, in ways.

I guess you don't remember the backside view of Madoka they love to do 3-4 times.

Lol, no. Her's is the ass I remember. It's the other ones I can't. If there's that much more that I can't, I'm almost proud of myself. I'm better at tuning out fanservice than I thought.

Might as well quote myself
You might as well make it comprehensive:

- Opening shot is on Madoka’s ass.
- Madoka strips down to swimsuit for more fanservice.
- Madoka still in swimsuit at school even though she could have changed.
- Sexual abuse sensei.
- Ass shot in classroom scene.
- Tennis fanservice .
- Skirt drop/clothes removal coupled with camera panning over body slowly.
- ‘Panties off’ and 'inspection'.
- Shower scene with shots on breasts and ass.
- Rei’s uniform every time its on screen.
- Special ass shot of Rei’s uniform.

Ano Natsu... something something

Seems alright from the first episode. I didn't find anything really offensive about it so I'll probably keep watching it for the time being.

The animation was nice too.

Now I'm waiting for the rest of GAF to describe their perfect waifus.

i dunno looking at this
they gave her a black line instead of lips, and far less shading in the hair, and the face and clothing is flat shaded
basically im asking the impossible
Then to borrow your definition, while there is more detail in comparison to the anime's counterpart, I wouldn't say having more detail means it's better. Actually, the extra detail is distracting especially the shading on her hair and the creases on her clothes with most of your attention being her thighs.

Of course, I'll never strive for max level until I watch a Key anime from beginning to end.
I meant more animes like Dark Rabbit, We Without Wings, etc...

machine to hatchin ep4

tumblr_lhzm5arIDn1qcgdh5o1_500.gif

haha drunk hatchin you make me laugh.

Like all modern shows where kids 'get drunk' all that actually happens is that they drink juice, or something, and that makes them drunk.

This is clearly nonsense. It takes really old shows like Marco and Anne of Green Gables to get away with kids actually drinking alcohol.

Taichi would have like six wives by then, they could set up in-house karuta tournaments.
Sounds like the greatest harem anime of all time.

Don't forget Mai Mai Miracle (Yeah, it's a movie but the point remains!).

Yeah, that was pretty ridiculous in Hanasaku Iroha, but I guess you have to satisfy the censors.

where's that gif of akio rubbing his nipples when you need it
Hawt.

I missed the part where they said Taichi was married.

If so, I'm sure they can immigrate to the US an move to Utah.
Isn't that the eventual outcome in Japan? Or are people allowed to live in perpetual sin?
Either way, the fact that they go out of their way not to have Taichi dump his girlfriend means the mangaka or whomever wants him to be a douche (or they just forgot).

Who's that?

Detective Conan 132:
It's really fun revisiting cases I haven't read for a long time and don't remember all the details on. The anime does a good job creating tension for the case, and there was some very nice choices of music in this episode. I wish the characters would get locked up in isolated houses more often, since the resulting cases are almost always memorable.

Taichi would have like six wives by then, they could set up in-house karuta tournaments.

Win and you get to sleep closer to Taichi that night.

Fate Zero 2-3

Wordy. Wordy. Wordy. It’s not as bad as that first ep, but the dialogue is as dry. I’d bitch more, but it seems as if the scene setting is finishing up, for the most part, so I’m interested to see where this goes. Also, Shirou not like his papi; Kiritsugu is such a boss. Gilgamesh, to continue, seems to be a bit better this time around, but Kotomine is still as annoying as ever. Silly snake, tricks are for pimps.

Fate/Zero isn't going to get less wordy. It's basically a lot like Nisemonogatari in that respect, it's a talking head show.

Interesting bit of news -- apparently Funimation decided to pull their BD release for Sora no Otoshimono Forte rather than delay it due to the Japanese licensor, Kadokawa, having issues with the NA release date being too close to the Japanese one.

http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-ne...-canceled-heavens-lost-property-forte-blu-ray

Brings up an interesting question, though -- if reverse importing continues to be a worry of the licensors, what would be an appropriate wait time before a cheaper overseas release?

Lol, Japan is still so scared of reverse importation because they know they charge an ungodly amount of money for their releases. I guess the times of deliberately sabotaging the US release so that people in Japan won't buy it are over.

Not mentioning it in any fashion isn't going "out of their way"; having Taichi's girlfriend become a prominent character would be going out of their way.

At any rate, although the romantic tension is there, neither Taichi nor Chihaya have expressed to each other any inclination of wanting to make their relationship a romantic one. If Taichi is a douche, he is only a douche in the way all men are by not thinking to take enough care to properly define relationships with the opposite sex. Since Chihaya hasn't shown any signs of misunderstanding anything, I don't see it as a problem in this case.

It's certainly deliberate. It's easy to retcon the girlfriend, especially since she isn't even a character but a plot point.

So not only is he a dick, he's choosing to be in the friendzone. Also, you're forgetting that he was characterized as a dick in his childhood - I see this whole girlfriend thing as just a way for them to say that he hasn't changed at all.

(There was also that scene where Chihaya gets jealous, but doesn't know why - the standard animu jelly plot).

Was this in terms of lower quality video/audio or something, or some other factor?

Re: being wrong about Chihayafuru

I'm gonna enjoy it when Taichi stands up for friendzoned guys everywhere and actually wins.

The pro-wrestling fan in me can see this. Normally when someone jobs this much in a feud they usually come out victorious in the end. Taichi is totally being set up for the underdog victory.

Was this in terms of lower quality video/audio or something, or some other factor?

Forcing dub only, handing in an incomplete (low quality) "master" file.

Absence of evidence is not evidence.

Er, what? So Taichi is a dick because he got a girlfriend? Should he have remained pure all his life for Chihaya or something? And he's a dick because he's Chihaya's friend instead of lover? Should he have kissed her the moment he met her again? Said, "You're the only one for me, let's elope right now"? When did a man having a non-romantic relationship with a woman become a terrible thing?

Man, Japan really is bitter about how little we are willing charge for (and pay for) their products.

Understandable, but sad. Hopefully they come to their senses one day.

:lol live in sin? Is this the 60's or something? Neither Chihaya nor Taichi are Catholic anyways.
