It's part of this "barefoot running" trend. I really do love running with the Nike Free Run shoes, which aren't like that but offer practically nothing in the way of support and weigh basically nothing. I don't know if I'd go as far as the toe-shoes though, just because I can see myself getting really badly injured.

I also took some pictures of some baby pictures (c'mon, you think I have a scanner?) and some are hilarious. Including one with me in a speedo, which was promptly burned mind you.

I just got this in the mail today, now time to get it framed.
Turns out USGS sends prints of maps of pretty much everywhere (in the US) for cheap. ($8+shipping for a 22x28) My map is of the Turtle Mountains in good old ND! I will probably get a bit overzealous with this and have an apt. decorated entirely with maps, but what can you do?

It's cool. I was thinking of going to Barcade to meet a bunch of guys who work in the game industry. At the same time, I feel like going home; I'm hungry. The thought of braving that wind is maing me dread it. Those guys meet up once a month there any way.
I'm actually going there tomorrow for my friend's bday. GAF's NYC meetup is on the 28th, you should come (check out the NYC thread if you haven't already).

I've been experimenting with fudge recipes. Fudge can be tricky because you have to be really careful with the temperature and you can only stir it at certain times.

Ohh, that sounds like fun. Arcades+alcohol+friends= a good time. I said I was gonna go in the thread so I'll definitely be there. If it's in BK or QN then it'll be a good learning experience for me since I rarely go to those borroughs so I'm not familiar with them.

RP-Gaf is sort of privately public though, I feel much better about posting personal stuff here than on something like Faceblark.
