well i think we play better as a team with wellbeck because his link-up play in general is vastly better, but imo hernandez has a much better understanding of where rooney is in the penalty box and vice versa. i often see rooney and wellbeck go for the same balls instead of really stretching defenses by helping eachother with their movement like him and hernandez do. there isn't quite that understanding.
