PenguinDrum had a pretty clear signature and it ended less than a month ago.
Maybe, but I can't see--or maybe I just don't want to see--the show's continual laying of rails to be for nothing. Open ended threads, when given time like that, they just suck.

I guess Funimation likes to reuse FMA BroHood VAs? Bradley for Jose's voice was an interesting choice. Levy McGarden's english VA is pretty nice and really brought out her personality well, probably one of my favorite personalities for an FT character. The two filler episodes, Changling (everyone changing bodies) and the Natsu x Lisanna episode was pretty interesting. Gajeel's voice is cool too and Juvia's.
Loved how epic the Galuna island arc was in the anime, probably my favorite arc thus far.
Oh I miss the Snow Fairy opening.

The most interesting thing related to Eiken is that the character designer, Masashi Ishihama, is actually a really good animator and artist that would later go to direct some of the best OPs in anime:

If Nise is Bake with even more trivial banter, I'd omit some of it outright. That banter with Senjougahara in Nise 1 is the biggest offender.
That wasn't just banter, actually. Abrupt foreshadowing.

They do omit some (quite a bit, actually) of it outright. But there's only so much banter you can cut before the entire scene has to go.
So cut entire scenes.

The first 2 minutes, yes. The rest? Yep, you can cut that. Could have saved that for later really.
